Steps:
1. I discussed with the supervisor what theme we
should approach this months bulletin board
with and decided upon a simple Valentines
Theme.
2. I created the FEBRUARY sign with red glitter
paper to allow it to stand out and catch the
childrens eyes more easily.
3. I wrote various short observations of what the
children were saying throughout the activities
and mounted them on construction paper.
4. I also wrote multiple skills that were applicable
to the activities they were doing in accordance
to ELECT.
5. I wrote applicable How Does Learning Happen

6. I collected the childrens artwork and
assembled the heart activity into a larger heart.

I found that it was difficult to find skills that werent
repetitive throughout all the different activities weve

difficult because there wasnt much diversity in skills
as most of the activities were creative.
I learned that there is a lot of things educators do that
go unseen and undervalued. Boards that enrich and
allow families to track and see each childs progress
and what they really do within the classroom is
important because parents who do not take part in
their childs learning in class, they would be able to
see what their child is doing throughout the day, what
theyve achieved and where they are
developmentally.
I would like to add pieces of work the children have
done that arent related to the creative arts and
showcase/display the other domains we also target
and really focus on in class.
