What is the importance of reading?


There is a variety of reasons why reading is crucial for human mental development. Reading
offers a productive approach to improving vocabulary and word power, so it is extremely
important to indulge in reading every day. Moreover, one of the most efficient ways of
boosting IQ and creativity is to read regularly. According to research, children who frequently
read do better at school and find it easier to concentrate on learning. Reading contributes to
conversational skills of readers since it helps both to decipher new words and phrases and use
these in everyday conversations. As for the health benefits of reading, it stimulates the
muscles of the eyes, and can prevent or delay mental decline.

What is the future of museums and art galleries in the digitised world?
Traditionally, a museum records artefacts of the past that have historical or cultural value and
makes them accessible to the public. Nowadays most museums have found it essential to
adapt their services to meet the changing needs of visitors. They have also become centres of
education where people can collect information and gain first-hand knowledge of how their
ancestors lived and experienced the world around them. Moreover, museums are becoming
places for socializing and resting, for example, by providing an inviting environment where
people with similar interests can come together. Visiting art galleries and museums to see
exhibitions is an essential part of aesthetic education too.

Why are computer or video games a popular form of entertainment?


Gaming has become one of the fastest-growing forms of entertainment for myriad of reasons.
Due to the rapid advance of technology, people can enjoy playing computer and video games
with effects that create a world full of challenges and manifold adventures. Cutting-edge
computer technology allows players to create imaginary worlds in which they can play
various roles and forget about the problems and strains of everyday life. Though many people
think that gaming is an activity mainly kids and teenagers enjoy, more and more adults find
these games their favourite free time activity.
