Unit Overview
Main Idea (Claim) Summative Assessment
Students should understand every parts of the Matching Type: Students can identify and match
speech and identify them each on a sentence. In what parts of speech each of the word in a
connection to Biblical concept, as they learned sentence.Example: I sing.

After that, the teacher will flash again the riddle given yesterday:

To control the excitement of students especially those who got the answer, you will let those who
had answer and sure of their answers go on the right side. Those who had answer but unsure and
no answer at all on the left side. Let those group on the right plan have a group role play to let the
group on the left side guess the correct answer. After all of them figures out the correct answer,
the teacher will flash on the screen the answer: PRONOUN.
Developing the Lesson
One day the doctor asked the doctor's assistant for the doctor's calendar. Then the doctor
checked the doctor's calendar to see what appointments the doctor had that day. Then the

doctor returned the doctor's calendar to the doctor's assistant for the doctor's assistant to
use to schedule the doctor's patients' appointments.
10-13 Discussion
mins. On the discussion of the lesson, the teacher will hand out to individual students an empty
table sheet that they will fill in during the discussion.
Definition: The prefix pro means for or in place of. Pronouns stand in for nouns or
replace them. Personal pronouns replace nouns that refer to people or things.
Personal pronouns have
After the discussion, each of the empty table should be filled in with pronouns on exact
positions. This will serve as students note of todays lesson.
Picture Example:
The trick is the possibility of not all their 5 red square papers are exactly the answer they
need for their strips of paper. So what they have to do is to ask for the exact pronoun they
need to the teacher in exchange of saying one-sentence-I-learned-today.

When they are done, they will exchange their 5 strips of papers to other pair/triad and
check it. They will put smiley face when it is correct and put a sad face with correct
pronoun when if it is wrong.
One day the doctor asked her assistant, James, to hand her the appointment calendar.
Then she checked it to see how many appointments she had that day. After that, she
returned the calendar to James and asked him to use it to schedule her other patients'
appointments.
To further review the lesson, the teacher will use the sticks on the jar to pick a name in
answering the following questions:
1. What is pronoun?
2. What is personal pronoun?
3. What are the examples of pronoun in the paragraph. Is it in first, second or third
person?
