university. We recognize we are standing in an urgent
moment, in the midst of a civilizational crisis, one that is
not to be overblown, but to be rightly understood. Were
living in a time when our own civilization is unsure of its
foundations, of its meaning, of its cohesive covenant and
what it means to be a community. We are at a great turning
point. We recognize that the culture itself is fragmenting
and we see this in terms of the deluge of the headlines.
