*Ashley asked me to come watch Language Arts and asked me to watch her management and and students transitioning during class
between groups. Also just watching student behaviors- she had just put them into new seats prior to me coming into classroom.

Conversation Notes
Ashley thought students were very well behaved as did I.
They were all working quietly when I entered room and
she had a small group pulled for small group instruction.
All students were engaged and they really seemed to know
their jobs or what was expected for them to do away
from their teacher.
I heard that students behavior and work was getting done
independently away from teacher. This wasnt a huge
surprise, but she thought they were exceptionally
quieter than normal.
I thought it was encouraging to see how much and how well
students journal entries were. They had a lot to say and
wrote a lot for a warm up activity.
I also thought Ashleys examples for her lesson were great
and helped kids get started with their personal narrative
assignment they were starting in class. She did a great
job modeling how to do assignment.
I noticed a very smooth transition from small group wrap up
to whole group. Students did a great job following
directions and moving around room quietly. When
coming back to whole group I noticed after your lesson
or their next steps were given that some werent 100%
