The document provides a review and analysis of the Philippine president's fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA). It notes that while the speech was sincere, it lacked important information and failed to address key issues like impeachment efforts, territorial disputes, and the pork barrel scam. However, it acknowledges the economic gains and new infrastructure achieved under the administration.

Aguinaldo SONA PPA 210 Theory and Practice in Public Administration
Well, compared to his previous SONA speeches, his fifth SONA
speech was full of emotions. The Presidents sincerity was deeply felt by many.
However, his speech lacks information. I noticed that there
were a lot of things that were not discussed by the President in his speech. His speech was too long to miss on some important political and social issues.
This is his second to the last SONA, and everyone was
expecting him to discuss more about what is actually happening in our country such as the impeachment complaints because of the DAP, territorial disputes with China, pork barrel scam, energy problems and more. I find it necessary for him to say something about the pork barrel scam for anti-corruption was part of his Tuwid Na Daan platform. I was even expecting him to say something about manufacturing and agriculture as these are the basic industries that are really job-generating.
Nevertheless, I still congratulate the government under
PNoys administration for all the good things they have achieved for our country. Most of his projects are really commendable especially the new infrastructures, which were mentioned many times his speech, that were constructed during his administration. I must also give credit to his administration for making our economy into becoming one of the resilient and robust in South East Asia. I am very positive that in the near future we, the ordinary Filipinos, will all entirely feel the improvements of economic gains of PNoys administration.
While watching militants rally during the SONA, I can say
that the saying you cannot please everyone is indeed true, but as I see and feel it, I am more far comfortable on Aquinos administration in contrast to any other administrations which came before it.
