Use a Planner/Create a weekly schedule
Study two hours per week for each college credit you take.
Registered for 12 Credits? Plan to study 24 hours during the week.

2. To Attend or not Attend ClassThat is the Question
Class/Technology Expectations: Read and understand your course syllabi; know Microsoft
Office (Word, Power Point, Excel), Blackboard, how to conduct web searches, read Email
on a daily basis!
Completing Homework vs. Studying:
Prepare for each class session ahead of time
Review lecture notes daily
Keep on top of reading assignments
Engage in active thinking and reflection; ask questions as you study
Commit to regular study and working on assignments as they are given
Study Environment
Have a consistent space that supports good study habits
Set study goals
Relax
Campus Involvement:
Participate in social activities
Engage in community service
Join a club or organization
Stay on campus on the weekends
