MEDICAL 3 of the players are asthmatic and have inhalers.
INFORMATION
PARTICULAR Jimmy smith is deaf
NEEDS
LOCATION and Rustside playing fields. Changing room and toilets available. Have key. Drinking Water
FACILITIES available.. Full sized grass pitch, decent standard. Full size goals at either end of the pitch.
EQUIPMENT Medical bag: Mobile phone: Contact details, player register and accident report forms. B.B.C
REQUIRED Balls (15) , bibs, cones. Posts for goals for SSG, ball pump and adapter. Bottles for drinking
water for those who forget
HEALTH AND Goals check for safety and stability. Pay phone in club house for emergencies. Public park
SAFETY so check pitch for glass, bottles, objects, dog muck. Main road at back, so warn players not to
get balls if they go over the fence. Check players have shin pads, no jewellery and correct
footwear and suitable training uniform for the weather conditions. Weather forecast warm,
light rain

COACHING TOPIC Improving passing and movement. 1.5 hours available LENGTH
WARM UP 5 minutes of jogging and ball manipulation, with ball at feet. Gentle 15 minutes
stretching of all main muscle groups. Progress to passing and movement
exercises pass in numbers, C.C side foot pass and set, C.C pass, support
and pass. Increase intensity and sharpness of movement. Progress
stretching and flexibility.
MAIN COACHING Play conditioned 5 v 2 - 30 x 30 yards10 passes to win. Progressed to 6 v 1 hour
CONTENT 3 and 7 v 5. Finish with small sided game 8 v 8- conditioned to 5 passes
can also score a goal.. Opportunity for players to work in pairs on passing
techniques for 10 minutes at the end
KEY COACHING 1. Different passing techniques 2. Movement after passing 3. Support
FACTORS angles and distance. 4. Passing in triangles. 5. Good communication

COOL DOWN Jogging and stretching. Make sure players re hydrate and are dressed 15 minutes
warmly. Good opportunity to debrief players, give and receive feedback
regarding the session
