Brief instructions of 1. Log into your student gmail account

how to use the tool 2. Use the shareable link I have provided and open it into your Google Docs page
you can access through the subpage icon you can use in the upper-right corner of
your gmail homepage.
3. Use this shareable document to organize information you find valuable on how to
write to persuade a specific audience (make sure each member writes their input
in their assigned colors so I can see each members contributions).
4. Then, as a group, write a persuasive letter to a specific group of interest whom
you wish to persuade of something (this can be anything from the signing of a bill
into law to convincing your Mom to make chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast).
5. Submit a link to your groups page (labeled Group A, B, C, etc.) under the Group
Assignment page in our classes Google Classroom.

Ideas for how the tool This is a perfect tool for PK-12 because many school districts in the country are
can be used in PK-12 integrating Google Classroom tools, and, since many schools now use gmail
accounts for their student mail, they would already have Google Docs through
their gmail. This makes the application user-friendly and completely accessible to
any student that uses their student gmail account.
In addition to simply typing up personal documents, through Google Docs
multiple users can access and work simultaneously on a single sheet if they have
access to the shareable link and the editing setting is allowed. This allows for
collaboration on multiple levels.
For the English Writing

Positives and Positives: Many school districts across the country are adopting Google
challenges of using the Classroom, and its many applications, which are automatically connected through
tool the students gmail, allowing for high accessibility for all students.
Negatives: There is the possibility that classroom instruction could become overly
dependent on Google Classroom applications as an essential part of every
assignment.
