Activity
This
learning
activity
will
give
first
grade
students
the
opportunity
to
create
a
timeline
of
their
day
over
the
course
of
two
days/class
periods.
The
SOL
standard
listed
above
will
be
broken
into
two
parts/days.
Day
1
will
focus
on
digital
clocks
as
students
use
http://www.softschools.com/teacher_resources/timeline_maker/
to
create
their
timelines.
The
teacher
will
collect
these
timelines
from
the
printer
and
save
them
for
the
following
day.
On
day
2,
the
students
will
demonstrate
their
knowledge
of
analog
clocks
after
receiving
their
timelines
along
with
9
analog
clocks
to
draw
the
time
and
paste
on
the
timeline
accordingly.
Breaking
this
activity
up
Pedagogy
into
2
days
allows
time
for
the
teacher
to
review
and
clear
up
any
misunderstandings
at
the
beginning
of
the
math
period.
