ABSTRACT

Following the success of the Green Revolution which resulted in the increase in
production of rice and wheat, the India government has taken up Operation Flood
Programmer to increase the production of milk and make India one of the largest producers
of milk in the world. The phenomenal increase in the production of milk in the country is
christened as the White Revolution. The White Revolution played a significant role in
improving the living standards of the rural poor and consequently the rural economy. The co-
operatives, which were set up to increase the production of milk in the villages, had played a
key role in the progress of the rural economy. It will be no exaggeration if the prosperity in
many of the Indian villages in attributed to the White Revolution.

Here we are designing an excellent cost effective system which work better for a long
run in diary farms. This system can be used in all rural areas and easily operable by a lay
man.

The project consists of an IR transmitter through which rays will be continuously

received by IR receiver, which is fed to the microcontroller. Here we are using DPDT Traic
with a combination of MOC3021 and BT136 to drive milk dispenser.

This project uses regulated 5V, 750mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage
regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the
ac out put of secondary of 230/18V step down transformer.
