o Select the appropriate set of project planning and control tools
for application on a specific technical project
o Apply core project planning and control tools and techniques to
their work environment
o Illustrate how project managers can effectively carry out their
planning and control responsibilities
o Develop a proposal in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP)

o Five Scenario Homework Assignments
o Based upon SPAWAR RFP
o Due no later than as indicated in schedule
o Late submissions will be reduced 10 points per week
o Assignments with a grade less than 80 will be returned with a
recommendation for resubmission (R)
o Homework needs additional work to be acceptable
o Resubmit within two weeks or late penalty applies
o Grade will be average of 2 grades
o Assignments that fully meet expectations will receive a grade of
95
o Remaining 5 points are reserved for extra effort (research, additional
analysis, self-assessment)
o All Homework Must Be Submitted to Complete Course
