The Sun is the ultimate source of light extinguishing the darkness of the world, the infinite symbol of
benevolence, the eternal source of inspiration. The knowledge, likewise, magnifies its radiance to
brighten up the mans position to transform it from the wilderness to the supreme glory. Having an
indelible imprint of this thoughtDelhi International School came into existence, founded by the
philanthropist and a successful business magnate Mr Mahesh Kumar with an ambition to engage
some of the brilliant minds of the region in the process of developing India as a frontrunner in the path
of success.
Today, DIS Group of Schools, enthused by this inspiring tree has adopted it as Groups Logo and is
spreading its branches in Dwarka and soon in Gurgaon . The Group apart from running its own
schools goes out of the way to reach out the underprivileged masses. In its corporate social service
endeavor, it has silently adopted over 100 schools in Rajasthan along with other infrastructure to
provide them with the basic facilities .

 PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
We firmly believe that a child who is exposed to a multitude of experiences , as opposed
to being solely focused on book-learning, is the kind of child who grows up to excel
socially, emotionally, and professionally in an inter-dependent and complex world. These
influences are gently introduced into the child's perspective over his or her time at DIS
edge through DIS edge's co- curricular activities.

Co-curricular programmes at DIS edge range from Sports and Creative Arts, to Field
Trips, Community Outreach and Internships, helping develop interpersonal, leadership
and communication skills in children. Year -round literary and cultural competitions called
the Tournaments of Minds, and the House systems we have in place reinforce team spirit
and confidence. These activities give children the impetus, in an atmosphere of
constructive and healthy competition to discover individual talents, work in collaboration
and to become high achievers.

DIS edge students have a healthy involvement in inter school competitions- both for the
challenge to themselves, as well as to benchmark our strengths and performance.
HIGHER STRONGER BRIGHTER

The word 'House' refers to a grouping of students, and our school has 4 houses, and
every student is allotted a particular house at the time of admission. The House system
brings about a sense of belongingness, students work together as a team towards a
particular goal. They are able to show talents and perform to their fullest potential and in
a healthy competitive spirit. One notable feature of the House system specially at the
middle and senior level is ,the nominations and elections of the house captains,
whose job is to rally fellow member and select students for individual and team events
 METHODOLOGY

is to provide a safe, positive, nurturing, intellectual learning environment that will
