Lattice Tower Modeling and Fabrication Application

TOWER Pro 3D is a multi-legged lattice tower configurator and powerful

model generator that allows you to build a tower structure, including all
the connections -- in minutes. TOWER Pro is ideal for the design and
construction of microwave towers, custom hydro towers, highway sign
structures and more.
TOWER Pro 3D is built on ProSteel 3D, the recognized leader in AutoCAD-based 3D
structural steel detailing software solutions. Any ProSteel-defined shape can be used
in the TOWER Pro 3D configurator. The software also includes custom connections
that are specifically designed to handle any combination of pipes, angles and

schifflerized angles (angles squeezed from 90 to 60 degrees.)

Gauge Line Management

TOWER Pro allows you to specify and control continuous gauge lines in leg members
of changing sizes. A user-modifiable gauge table allows you to specify gauge
dimensions for each shape. as well as establish relative gauges for varying leg sizes
(L150x150 connected to a L125x125).
Splices
Several splices are supported, including butt
splice for angles, flanged pipe splice, and
overlap splice (to be released Q4 2007).

Geometry
TOWER Pro 3D features panel-driven tower definition. Panels may have
varying height and bracing configurations and member types.
Brace types supported include Xbrace, Nbrace, Kbrace , diamond,
or panels with no bracing. Each panel can have its own arrangement
of redundant members, and the software offers automatic redundant
generation. Towers may have sides of equal or unequal dimensions,
panel numbers and bracing configurations.

TOWER Pros rules-based connection generation capability includes

edited in ProSteel 3D following the 3D generation of the Tower.
