attending in class
100% of the content developed is updated by CS to

Cost of Implementation
During the analysis and recommendation design phase, our attempts were
to keep costs to a minimum. The following assumption were made
- Any web development, or website updates is done by the Current IT
department
- Graphics and illustrations for online resources are created by
Graphics designers currently hired by Champlain
- Each cluster requires 3-15 hours to be completed that is an average
of 9 hours per cluster
- A total of 9 Clusters will be designed for online accessibility
- No new content specialists or instructors will be hired
- The current RAC advisor will be in charge of both in-person services
and online services.
- LMS implementation is a part of a different project.
Total $87,890
* Given the fact that there are 9 clusters each is 9 hours long on average, we found that it will be
more cost effective if an instructional designer is hired on a one-year contract base to develop the
online resources. The annual salary of an instructional designer is estimated at 86,000$.
