As a student of a Masters in Accounting Pathway Program of George Mason University, I
believe my education and experience match the needs of the Masters in Accounting
Program. From my review of graduate programs and the study experience in pathway
program here, it is very evident that George Mason University has an excellent Accounting
program. I am excited and confident about myself pursue a masters degree at George
Mason University.
For the past year, I got my bachelor's degree of Financial Management in East China
University of Science and Technology in Shanghai, China. Also, I have held an accounting
assistant internship working at Anhui Shuntian Tax Accountant Firm. My experience includes
preparing journal entries of clients, providing taxation service, and checking the accounts
balance by using Microsoft Office programs. These kinds of work required me to pay
attention to details, which means I am a person who attentive to detail. Additionally, after
one-year study at Masters in Accounting Pathway Program at Mason, I have already
accustomed the study environment here and improved my academic skills a lot. I believe
that these working and studying experiences have prepared me for graduate school and
make me a good fit for your program.
