General Comments:

You have done a much better job during this lesson than previous one. The objectives of the lesson
were clear and the activities were in alignment. I particularly enjoyed the riddle activity which was later
supported by the video on the different phases of the moon. The questions used during the explaining
session really helped the students who were having difficulties understand the concept. Various
activities were used during the lesson.
You are still struggling with providing students with clear instructions and keeping the class on task and
focused. The demonstration you used during the flashlight and the ball could have really helped and it
is one of the better demonstrations a teacher can use to help young children understand the phases of
the moon. However, the instructions provided to the students were incoherent. The other issue which
needs to improve is behavior management strategies to keep the class focus. There were too many
occasions in which the students were off task and you made no attempt to address their behaviors.
