Topic: Tibetan-Chinese conflict (1940s to present day).


Research question: What aspects of Tibetan life were most affected by the Chinese
occupation in the 20th century?

Thesis: The ongoing conflict that began between Tibet and china in the 1940s has
resulted in the repression of Tibetan religion, language, and culture, the ecological
devastation of the Tibetan plateau and the oppression and genocide of the nomadic
people.
