The first picture is Farmagusta, which is a dead city or forbidden to enter city.

One day back in 1974 every hotel that can be seen in the picture was full of
tourists enjoying this beach and breakfast when suddenly the Turkish military
invaded. 30,000 people, mostly tourists and local Greeks evacuated South for
safety, the Turks fenced of this entire city and have not allowed anyone to return
since.
