The article examines the isomorphism between the textual structures and geo-
poetic imagery in G. Steins novel Lucy Church, Amiably with the specific emphasis
on their relationship to the writers concept of landscape as a genre. Interpreting G.
Steins landscape vision, the article explores how the novel rejects linearity and pro-
motes the sense of simultaneity and the palimpsest.

The article explores rhetoric representations of knowledge in political discourse.
Being an institutional discourse type political discourse is an excellent and broad plat-
form for explaining common aspects of human cognitive mechanism. It creates links
between concepts and linguistic representations of different level and different nature
which are structures of knowledge. Metaphors and metonymies play key role in polit-
ical discourse which is the most rhetoric and persuasive discourse type, and help to
form the structure of political categorization and argumentation. Furthermore, they
represent such structures of knowledge as ideology, power, social differentiations, etc.
and thus conceptualize political discourse.

The article examines the use of pronouns of the Azerbaijani language in a poetic
speech. The analysis shows that in most cases the use of demonstrative pronouns, creat-
ing a rational connection between the parts of the text serves as a means of saving. It is
emphasized that one of the important features of the language interrogative pronouns
who, what, in a certain syntactic position is its ability to act as a stylistic synonymous
with different words.
