Description:
In continuation to the previous studio course of Architectural Design (A), this course further extends
the student abilities of design problem-solving through composite processes at different levels of
resolution. Specifically, the design approach attempts to resolve the issues of site conditions, massing,
spatial composition, structural systems, design expression and style. The analytical skills develop the
awareness towards environmental control and urban fabric taking into consideration the social and
cultural dimensions in the design process. The course encounters the different schools of architectural
thoughts through exercises and design project works of various elements with limited scale.

Final Exam (6 hrs) 60%
