Good Day fellow RKLers, GM Eric The Whole FN Show Nowlin here once again for the 3rd
annual RKL Organizational Report. This report has always brought forth great joy for me as I
enjoy seeing how each owner and manager delegates and treat their minor league systems from
year to year. The report first started with a simple look at Baseball America (BA) rankings 3
years ago and seeing how many guys I had ranked there. Then it morphed into this Keith Law
(KL) fellow and his epic TOP 100. I produced two separate reports the 1st and 2nd years; one that
had BA rankings and one that had KL rankings. This year I stumbled onto MLB.com ranking of
their Top 100 prospects as well. There has always been a debate on what so called expert
rankings are the go to rankings? Some like KL some hate KL. Some think BA is bibleesque;
others rely solely on ownership of Pawtucket to tell them who is good and who isnt.

How are the numbers determined? Simple math ranking system has been in place since the
conception of this report. I bracket KL Top 100 and assign points per bracket. Example, if you
own a player ranked by KL in slots 1-10, your team received 10 points per player. 11-20th
ranked players received 9 points per player, working all the way down to 91-100th ranked player
by KL, ownership received 1 point per player. This same matrix was used for the MLB list of
their top 100 players as well. Same bracketing procedures were applied. Finally, for BA listing,
it was broken down by individual clubs and points assigned accordingly. If Tony Bigbat were
the #1 prospect for the Chicago Cubs then the owner of Tony Bigbat (Trevor Wilsons Boy of the
NUTZ) would receive 10 points towards their overall BA cumulative points. If said Bigbat was
the 7th ranked player in the Cincinnati Reds farm system than you would receive 4 points towards
the total. As a rule, there are more players listed in BA top 10s so more available points for RKL
owners.

Two new 1st time features regarding the point systems are in place for this edition. The 1st is the
fact that I took all three rankings, KL, BA and MLB and added them up then divided by 3 to give
each owner a cumulative aggregate score which was used to rank RKL from 12 down to 1. The
2nd and most powerful addition to the ranking of each organization is the use of NEGATIVE
points when needed to owners of their respective teams. How does one get negative points?
Simple, I feel like if a RKL owner has a player that IS NOT LISTED in either the top 100 by KL,
top 100 by MLB or even worse yet, the top 300 players through BA rankings then there should
be a penalty for such inactiveness and/or poor choice in owning said player. I know that each of
us does their own research in their own way and I will gladly pay respects moving forward if a
player was docked in this report and actually provides fantasy value down the road, but in the
meantime, it was a NAGATIVE 5 points per player that is still listed in your minor league system
and they did not make any of the 3 lists that help shape the RKL Organizational Report 2014.

Let me first preview each set of lists of players I have scoured over and give applause to RKL
members as a whole. Some have used the strategy of the minor league system to their advantage

4
in home grown talent then promoted to help the big league club; others have used it to help in
trade negotiations throughout the year(s), while others just plain dont give a damn about keeping
a tidy minor league roster worth noting. The rankings will show all three types. The 1st set of
data I obtained and work through was KL top 100 prospect list that he put out on ESPN Insider.
Once again, big thanks to Axtion Jaxson (roells yahoo league member and good friend of mine)
for his insider log in. Second big thanks to Rensselaer Central School Corporation for
employing me to write this report and use their paper/ink/etc.

In KL listing of players, RKL owners have identified and show ownership at a rate of 72%. For
the Math challenged, that means amongst the 12 owners we have rights to 72/100 players listed
on his top 100 prospect list. Quite impressive, especially when RKLers could not obtain the
rights of players ranked highly at #11 Mark Appel, #12 Jonathan Gray, and #15 Kris Bryant
respectively. Thanks DAVID PRICE RULE!!! But let me look deeper shall we. In KL list, there
were 16 players who drafted in the 1st round of June 2013 draft make his list, which we know are
not available for consumption per the DAVID PRICE RULE. So really, that brings our total up
to 88/100 or 88% accounted for in RKL, well played men, well played. The 12 players who
have not been accounted for, the highest ranked player is Eduardo Rodriquez, who KL ranked
#43. I shall mention at this time, of the 88 players or 72 players, however you want to look at it,
these players were scattered throughout the owners of RKL, but OWNER/GM GEOFF
ROELL of the Lexington Legends leads the way with 12 of his 13 available spots in his minors
secured with a player on KL top 100 list, pretty impressive. On the contrary, Palm Beach County
OWNER/GM JOE HANSON has not a SINGLE player listed in KL top 100.

As I move on from KL top 100, I then inspected for the 1st time Major League Baseball (MLB)
own top 100 prospect list they put out this off season. Well, its at least the 1st time that that RKL
Organizational Report has recognized this as a legitimate source of information. First time
through the MLB report, RKL ownership had a whopping 74/100 prospects listed. MLB also
had 8 players listed from the 2013 draft class that were unavailable to the RKL masses. That
brings the total up to 82/100 or 82%!! Another round of applause for RKL owners if you must!!
MLB and KL had different opinions on some of their prospect rankings that I want to highlight.
The most notable was KL omission of MLB #48 ranked player Allen Webster in the Boston Red
Sox organization. He is 4th ranked player in Boston farm system according to Baseball America
(BA), ranked in MLB, but didnt get a sniff in KL rankings. GM JOE BLISS of the CEDAR
RAPIDS KERNELS owns him. Jake Odorizzi is ranked #56 and has suffered the same fate as
his teammate on the Kernels Mr. Webster, no love from KL. Michael Choice of now Texas
Rangers farm system and owned by GM KEVIN BELTZ JR, was ranked by MLB at #72, he
was also left off KL list, most likely because he has been on prospects sheets for 3 years without
much noise. PAWTUCKET RED SOX owner/gm BERT ROY will have an issue with MLB
ranking Mathew Wisler SP San Diego #78 overall, this is exactly 39 spots later than KL has him
ranked, #39. The highest ranked prospect available to RKL this past year that appeared in MLB
rankings was #52, Lance McCullers Jr, SP Houston Astros. Not to be confused with his father,

5
Lance McCullers shown here: the junior was selected in the 1st round of the 2012

draft #41 overall and looks to be part of a great young stable of players in the
organization. Ok, enough fun with images, lets move onto the last piece of information that was
used to rank the RKL Organizations, that is BA. Once again GM ROELL of the LEGENDS
rocked an outstanding 11/13 total minor spots for his players appeared in MLB top 100 list.
Once again GM HANSON did not have a player anywhere near MLB list.

Baseball America (BA) is where this all started 3 years ago; it was my go to place at the time to
see where my players were within their own organizations. BA puts out there list in the off
season, most of the time with a team a day. The free portion of the website does a nice job of
listing each of the MLB teams and who they feel are their top 10 prospects, regardless of
position. After BA has done this for all 30 teams, that gives a list of 300 prospects to rank.
RKLers came in at a 31.7% of that overall number. That is 95 total prospects that have rights
within an RKL owned team. For those who are already wondering, YES, GM HANSON finally
had not 1, but 2 players on the radar of BA. As for the members of RKL, it looks like we have
raided the Boston Red Sox farm system the most 8/10 prospects owned, which is not surprising
considering we have one RKL who writes for a blog called BOSTON sports then and now or
something to that affect and our newest member GM BLISS who also makes hay in the greater
Boston area. With that being said Lowell Spinners GM DESBERG only owns Bostons 7th
overall player in their farm system MI MOOKIE BETTS. The same cannot be said for GM
BLISS who has whored out his minor league system with 3 Red Sox, previously mentioned
Allen Webster comes in #4 in BA rankings, #5 C Blake Swihart, and #6 CI Garin Cecchini.
RKL members believe in the Red Sox farm system but was does KL say about farm systems of
the MLB and where does he rank Boston?

I went through and copied down KL rankings of every MLB organization that he put out as well
and attached a table to let you know where they ranked according to KL. The number that is in

6
parenthesis after the MLB team listed is the number of players off that MLB team that is owned
by a RKL member. Below is the table.

1. Astros (4) 6. Mets (3) 11. Dodgers 16. Reds (2) 21. Mariners 26. Athletics

For the purpose of conformity, I have chosen to work off the RKL report of BA from 2013 as I
move to the next portion of the 2014 RKL report, the RANKINGS. As you may or may not
remember, I was able to add an UP or DOWN arrow from year 1 to year 2 and will do the same
for this year. Since last two years featured 2 different documents and this year is consolidated
(and years moving forward as well) I had to choose which report to work off of from the
previous year, hence choosing of BA listings that was used for RKL 2013.

Without further ado, THE 2014 RKL ORGANIZATION RANKINGS

12. (2 Spots) -3 POINTS
In the great words of George Takei, OH MY!!! How does an owner earn NEGATIVE points
in power rankings? Simply put, Jurickson Profar was no longer available for this listing is one
angle you can take, the angle I prefer to take is an angle of complete failure as an organizations
fan base to help produce home grown talents for helping the big squad like Profar will this year
or to add bargaining power in the trade market that GM Hanson rarely utilizes. Good news for
PBC is that Texas shipped Kinsler to Detroit for Prince which will open up every day playing for
his former #1 prospect Profar. Now so far you may be asking yourself if the RKL Organizational
report is being too harsh on GM HANSON, I will say it is not, but this report also recognizes
that there are multiple ways to conduct RKL business. Some want to home grow their talent, but
to have not a single player on KL 100 or MLB 100 is mind boggling to the RKL report. On a
positive note, PBC does have 2 players who were ranked 3rd in their respective organization,
Bruce Rondon RP Detroit and J.R. Graham SP Atlanta. Graham, spent most of 2013 on the
shelf, but does have 18-7 with a 2.72 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in his career. Rondon the fire baller
got a few cups of coffee to start the 2013 year but spent the majority of his time down in Toledo
before being called back up in late June thru the rest of the year where he recorded his 1st save.
Remember as stated previously in this report that teams can earn negative points for having
players on their roster not anywhere on the 3 lists used for this RKL report. GM HANSON had
5 such players. David Holmberg and Xavier Avery were ranked by BA in 2013 but did not
reappear in 2014. Bryce Stowell, Hiroyoki Nakajima, and Kohlbrin Vitek were the other 3
players that were not listed which caused a total of -25 to be subtracted from the score. PBC
earned 0 for KL, 0 for MLB and 16 for BA rankings. After the penalty was assessed, brought his
total to -9, this averaged to -3 with all 3 lists. Good news is there is only way to go for PBC and
GM HANSON!! PBCs HOPES RELY ON THESE GUY!!!

11. (1 Spot) 11.7 Points
Batavia, under 100% new ownership throughout 2013, which helped improve his squads
ranking by 1 spot. 2013 Batavia touted Julio Teheran has his #1 guy but that shipped sailed at
some point because Teheran is currently hanging out in Albuquerque. SP Brad Peacock has
never regained his 15-3 form he demonstrated with the Nationals farm system before winding up
in Houston and just like GM CALDWELL did, he was kicked to the free agent curb. Those
were the only 2 players that received rankings in 2013 in BA list, but just because Batavias
overall number is lower ( 1st time we had all 3 lists combined) his quality in his farm system has
improved. GM CALDWELL is most proud of Yordano Ventura SP in the Royals organization.
Ventura made both KL (#50) and MLB (#35) lists and earned 9 points from being the 2nd ranked
prospect in the Royals organization. Max Fried should be considered Batavias next prospect to
keep an eye on. He entered KL rankings at #48, but failed to make MLB rankings and is ranked
3rd best prospect in the Friars (thats the Padres for you illiterate fucks) organization. MLB
contributors must have been fried not have this young prospect even mentioned. The last
prospect worth noting for Batavia is OF Courtney Hawkins of the Chicago Whitesox, who
earned 4 points for being the 7th best prospect in the WSox organization. WSox head of minor
league system Buddy Bell had this to say: The White Sox "love" top prospect Courtney Hawkins' ceiling,
writes MLB.com's Phil Rogers.White Sox assistant general manager Buddy Bell on Sunday said Hawkins has 40
homer, 130 RBI upside. To come anywhere close to reaching it, Hawkins needs to improve his grasp of the strike
zone and eliminate holes in his elongated swing. The 13th overall pick in 2012's draft struggled through a horrific
2013 season as a 19-year-old, slashing .178/.249/.384 at High-A Winston-Salem. Hawkins could end up being a
The one sour spot in Batavias minor league system owned Gary Brown,
poor man's Nelson Cruz.
OF SF Giants. Gary is now longer considered a prospect of any significance, but he nailed his
owner with a big -5!!! When will these guys be aces?

Owner/GM Trevor Wilson, who doubles as the fine RKL Commissioner, had to be ecstatic with
the way his NUTS swung themselves out of the predicted cellar of 2013 to finish a respectable
9th place. Its respectable because coming off his championship in 2010, his NUTS wilted away
to a RKL record low for total points (19) in 2011. It is known that GM WILSON keeps an eye
on those prospects but he is not one who will purposefully try to develop his own for usage in the
everyday lineup, instead he takes some stabs at some prospects and uses them to his advantage in
barging the best deals to help the mother ship. This reports evidence to back up this claim is the
fact that the Nuts farm system incudes a league high 5 guys (tied with PBC) who docked his
overall score. When this report analyzes these NUTS it is clear that we have a case of Quality
vs. Quantity. GM WILSONs top talent from a year ago Chris Archer, was traded, which leaves
him Johathon Schoop and Justin Nicolino. Both these players appeared in KL 2013 list but
dropped significantly in 2014. Schoop #86 is 36 spots lower than he was last year. Nicolino
dropped 32 spots as well, which begs the question, is this the direction they are going or a just a
hiccup? In 2014, look for GM WILSON to covet LHP Henry Owens of the Boston Red Sox.
The Nuts are also the owner of Eddie Rosario, MI/OF of the Minnesota Twins. Owens is ranked
highest by MLB at #30 and BA calls him the BoSox 2nd rated prospect, while KL ranks him #42.
GM WILSON was quoted in sayings stud in one of the ever-famous group text threads this
past off-season. KL loves Rosario at #49 but no such love from MLB list. Other prospects
gaining points through BA were Brian Floyd SP Miami Marlins, Michael Wright, SP Baltimore
Orioles and Nathan Karns, SP Washington Nationals. The negative points want to these 5
players, Anthony Aliotti, Allan Dykstra, Kevin Mathews, Mike Montgomery, and Neil Rameriez
furthering this reports notion that GM WILSON collects these guys, but does he know these
guys? How will the NUTS use these guys in 2014?

9. (3 SPOTS) 30.7 POINTS
GM SILAS DUST the owner/GM of the Frisco Rough Riders has seen a drop off from the
rankings of 2013 to this years version of 2014, but for this organization, that is none too
concerning. The reason? The potential to own 2015 KL, MLB, BA top prospect Javier Baez of
the Chicago Cubs through the up coming RKL HARD FLACID RESET. Baez is the clear-cut
leader in the clubhouse for the RRers, and sports a #7 overall ranking from both KL and MLB
top 100. Cubs have stated they will start the budding star as the everyday SS in Iowa, if GM
DUST is once again in midst of a race for RKL supremacy, will he resist the temptation to bring
him up if Cubs do? Known as a patient man in both trade negotiations and standings watching,
my money is on Baez spending the entire year stashed in the farm system of the RRers. GM
DUST roster does not stop there, he owns 4 other players that appear on both KL and MLB lists.
Another Cubs prospect that is highly ranked is OF Albert Almora, who MLB ranks 10 spots
higher at #18 compared to KL, either way, seems to be a cant miss addition past 2015. The
other 2 players that are on both lists Rougned Odor 2B Texas and Delino Deshields JR who was
also ranked by KL last year, which shows the patience of GM DUST. Matt Barnes SP Boston
Red Sox is ranked in the 80s respectively on both MLB and KL, but is only the 8th best prospect
in Red Sox organization according to BA, which shows you the insane depth of Red Sox farm
system and the reason why RKLers have ownership of 8 of the 10 on BA list. Speaking of BA,
the final noteworthy players comes from BA list and that Danny Hultzen SP Seattle and OF
Rymer Liriano of the Padres earned 1 and 5 points to aid in the final total of GM DUSTs quality
organization. The RR organization said farewell to last years KL #53 Austin Tyler of the
Yankees and apparently so did CBS as he is no longer listed anywhere or on any of top lists
provided for this report, which tells the story once again that GM DUST has full control of the
coming and goings of his Rough Rider. A success from 2013 had to be Jedd Gyorko who
climbed from #70 on KL list to earning meaningful at bats throughout the year for the Padres and
RRers respectively. As they say, 2 out of 3 aint bad!!

11
8. (5 SPOTS) 31 POINTS
In the closest difference between RKL owners, GM CARL DESBERG beat out another foe for
this 8th spot. Lowell and Frisco share many of the same attributes and there is no surprise that
they both continue to finish within the top 4 year after year, even though the Spinners did
manage to improve on their 2012 finish of 8th to 5th in 2013, the worst position to finish in RKL,
his farm system continues to produce players for both trade and promotion opportunities within
the Spinner Organization. As you see above, GM DESBERG experience a big drop off, the
largest in RKL for the 2014 report, dropping 5 sports from 3 in 2013 to 8th in 2014. Where did
all the talent go? GM DESBERG is one who is always willing to do some listening decided to
ship his #1 prospect Oscar TED Taveras ranked #5KL/#3MLB and P Jesse Biddle who is also
ranked in both publications to Memphis for Zach Greinke, Robert Stephenson, Danny Salazar,
and a 2nd Round Pick via Winston Salem. He then sent his #1 Pitching prospect off in this deal:
Brooklyn receives Taijuan Walker, Jackie Bradley Jr and an 8th (via CKR) Lowell receives Joey
Votto, 14th round pick. Lowell as you can see made 2 major moves one in season, one out of
season are always calculated and usually produces for both sides. Those two moves along with
other moves that saw ranked players Matt Barnes, Brian Goodwin, Taylor Guerrieri and the
promotion to the big club of Shelby Miller all contributed to the drop in the standings. What
remains? Aft before mentioned Stephenson is ranked #19 by MLB and not too far behind in KL
at #24. The biggest discrepancy between MLB and KL lies with CI Maikel Franco of the
Philadelphia Philles. He may or may not be the illegitimate love child of the road days of this

guy: . MLB loves him (and so does this report) and has him ranked #26 overall, while
KL snubs him a bit to say the least and has him ranked #63, that is a 37 spot difference. Other
players sharing rankings on both KL and MLB were: C Austin Hedges, OF Stephen Piscotty,
and 2B Mookie Wilson Betts. The final two players who are BA and no other list was IF Marcus
Sieman of the White Sox and OF Bubba Starling of the Royals. Spinners (sorry every time I
type that I have a vision of the 1 spinner I had in college, man could she spin) got docked 15

12
points before the average was taken for Raphael DePaula P Mets, Anthony Ranaudo P Boston,
and Cesar Puello OF Mets. STEPHENSON TRADED 3 TIMES, HOT PROSPECT or
THROW IN PIECE?

7. ( 2 SPOTS) 35 POINTS
Coming off the last hurrah of a 3 year mortgage plan to obtain their very 1st ever RKL title, GM
ERIC NOWLIN of the Winston Salem Warthogs (WS) can only shake his head to think what
could of happened if he was more patient. Names that have been in his farm system over the
years, Matt Harvey, Mike Trout, Shelby Miller, Gerrit Cole, Dylan Bundy, Julio Tehren and Jose
Fernandez. GM NOWLIN has been on record in saying that after 2015 Flaccid Reset, there
will be more patience exercised moving forward, starting with 2014. The report and the rest of
RKL knows that the #1 goal for 2014 version of the Warthogs will be to stay away from #12 spot
in the standings and getting renamed. GM NOWLIN was able to secure some nice depth with 5
players listed on both KL and MLB lists; headlined by OF George Springer Houston Astros.
This report was able to go underground to the depths of the unknown for many RKLers to get a
comment from GM NOWLIN. George Springer will not be promoted up in any capacity in
2014 as the plans is to carry him and the rest of my farm system over in 2015, this includes
trading the young man unless its a deal that says SUCKER on it Best SP prospect is from the
Pirates organization in Tyler Glasnow who is ranked #20 by KL and #27 by MLB. Other
prospects being ranked by KL and MLB were: Marcus Strohman P Toronto, Erik Johnson SP
WSox, Mike Foltynewicz SP Houston (KL only) and Robert Osuna P Toronto (MLB only).
James Paxton somehow was still considered a prospect by BA but not the others garnered 8
points being the 3rd best prospect in the Mariners farm system. When Paxson was finally given
an opportunity in August of last year he dazzled with this stat line: 4 GS, 3 wins, 0 losses, 21 ks,
1.50 ERA and .9167 Whip. Joining him is Seattle teammate Chris Taylor who is ranked 9th in
their organization. In a tweet exchange with the REAL KEITH LAW last year, WS picked up a
deep sleeper in the Cardinals organization in Carson Kelly. WS did get stuck with 2 players who
provided negative points, Cubs SP Kyle Hendricks and 1B Alex Dickerson San Diego. GM
NOWLIN knows with very limited quality draft picks he will need to make hay in the scouting
department to make sure he can bring over quality players who will produce past the reset.

Everyone league needs a villain and some say in RKL GM ETHAN NOROF can play that role
with the best villains of the 21st century. He is our LOKI of the league. For those who may
not know, he is the Villain in movie THOR and THE AVENGERS. Dont believe me, look at
this quote from this website: http://www.hitfix.com/galleries/best-villains-of-the-21st-century#w4tLfYhB2VO6pIt9.99
Constantly playing the angles, constantly lying, constantly looking for a way to better his own
situation, Loki is like the physical manifestation of self-interest, and I suspect we're going to see
much more of him. Now some can read that and think this is a negative, RKL report states
otherwise!! This shrewd businessman of an owner/GM looks for cracks in the oppositions
armor and looks to wear down his opponents when negotiating deals to help improve his
Cyclone squad and I believe that RKL appreciates the competitive nature of the league.
Brooklyn expects to make a run in 2014, look for management to take a more aggressive
approach in his pursuits. GM NOROF has a nice group of talented players at his disposal and
predictably so, he owns the most METS in his own farm system, led by P Noah Syndergaard
who is Mets #1 prospect and MLB ranked #11 overall. Jackie Bradley Jr who was obtained via
trade with former UMASS co-ed Lowell Spinner GM DESBERG, comes in at #33 on MLB list.
Overall MLB seemed to favor GM NOROFs players better than KL. P Joc Pederson is #1
prospect in Dodgers organization is ranked #36 overall in MLB. Another Met obtained in trade
with Winston Salem was SP Rafael Montero who KL favored at #60 compared to #85 for MLB.
Other serviceable players for Brooklyn are MI Kolten Wong of St Louis, SS Chris Owings of
Arizona, OF Brian Goodwin of Washington, and SP Enny Romero of the Rays. Just like every
other organization in RKL, Brooklyn achieved most his points through BA rankings, which
makes sense considering there is 300 prospects available to be ranked. GM NOROF has to be
happy with owning 7 KL players; Goodwin was the only player not on MLB that also appeared

Big Splash MEEHAN was the mantra that followed the ISOTOPES this past year as
OWNER/GM DAVID MEEHAN saw 2 major trades involving many prospects and top tier
players change hands. The 1st trade was done in season with PAWTUCKET and GM ROY and
saw prospects SS #6 KL Franciso Lindor Cleveland, P Aaron Sanchez Toronto, Jose Fernandez,
Domonic Brown, Kenley Jansen, Yunel Escobar, Yasiel Puig, 3B Miguel Sano Minnesota, P
Robert Stephenson Reds, Matt Moore, JP Arencibia, and 2014 round picks in the 3rd and 6th
rounds FOR Jon Lester, Gio Gonzalez, Evan Longoria, Troy Tulowitski, Josh Johnson, Jacoby
Ellsbury and Casey Janssen, basically mortgaging his 2013 campaign, but getting GREAT young
talent and quality draft picks. Then off-season has rolled around and ole BIG SPLASH strikes
again and pulls this deal fellow bar association mate Memphis: Sonny Gray, SP Carlos Martinez
St. Louis, Mike Trout, and Trevor Rosenthal for Sanchez, Stephenson, Christian Yelich, and
Sano, and Albuquerques #1 pick back in 2014. I am quite positive that GM MEEHAN would
take a drop in these standings for ownership of ROTO premium player like Trout. This report
has already mention Lindor, but he is not the only gem in his glass case. Kyle Zimmer P Royals
is his top prospect to take the bump. KL has Zimmer ranked #10 overall but MLB has him 15
spot lower. Some scouts said that P Kevin Gausman was the better prospect then teammate
Dylan Bundy of the Orioles, with Bundy missing most of 2013 with severe elbow pain and
surgery, Gausman too center stage. Everyone favorite speedster Billy Hamilton was still eligible
on the hot sheets but I see the Reds using him coming out of spring training. C Gary Sanchez

16
continues top make the lists for a 3 year in a row, which brings me to the part of the RKL where
the soapbox get brought out. It is this reports feelings that Catchers are incredibly over rated and
ranked by these publications especially when pertaining to fantasy production. Sweet you have a
guy who can put fingers down and throw out some runners but still cant hit worth a shit. Devin
Mesoraco? Jody Davis? The Officer Ron Karkovice!!! I see you too Austin Hedges! Soapbox
exited, onto GM MEEHAN final ranked MLB player the Italian 3B Joey Gallo of Texas Rangers.
Rounding out the list of players is P Keyvius Sampson of the Padres who comes in as their 9th
best prospect. Is LINDOR a Bust Candidate, some in RKL thinks so!!

RKL newest face was also one of our big jumpers in the rankings as OWNER/GM JOE BLISS
came charging hard after his 1st full year of KERNELS ownership. What a difference a year has
made, after being nominated by fellow Bostonian, GM DESBERG, GM BLISS quickly began
to wheel and deal starting right before the draft in 2013. Taking over a team that was absolute
chaos with the Welty/Chris experiment, GM BLISS reloaded in a BIG WAY. The one hold over
for the Cedar Rapids Kernels (CR) was Jameson Taillon, KL #14 prospect of the Pirates
organization. Dont expect GM BLISS to carry this prized prospect into the 2014 draft has his
DV of 7 just will be roster suicide with 15 reset coming. C Travis DArnaud Toronto (I wont
go off again), P Zach Lee Dodgers, and P Jake Ordizzi Rays were all obtained via trade
throughout 2013. BA somehow is still ranking Trevor Bauer for the Indians and was part of CR
75 total points in the BA rankings. 3B Garrin Ceccinni was evening ranked in the 50s range on
both KL and MLB, same goes for yet another C in Blake Swihart of GM BLISSs hometown
squad Red Sox. MLB was much more fond of the overall body of work of CR as MLB had a
total of 52 points assigned to those players and only 32 points for KL list. Odorizzi, Bauer, and P
Allen Webster Red Sox all appear on MLB list but not on KL. MLB also loves P Alex Meyer of
the Twins as they have ranked him 34 spots ahead of KL at #28. Rounding out the positive point
players for CR is OF Victor Roache of the Twins. GM BLISS is currently carrying 2 players
that took away from the overall score but wasnt that big of a change as CR is squarely locked in
at 4th. Those 2 players were yet ANOTHER C in Tommy Joseph of the Phillies and 2B Cory

17
Spangenberg of the Padres. If you have learned anything from this write-up is if you are in a
market for a CATCHER for you farm system you know where to go!! Heading into his 2nd full
season as RKL member, look for a top 4 finish for this club as he has done a great job of
retooling the mess and obtaining ready to go productive MLB players like King Felix, Big Papi,
Adrian Beltre, A-Choo Muther F*cker, Posey, Kipnis, Beltran, and Gio.
CAN GM BLISS CONTINUE TO TREND UPWARD INYEAR 2 OF HIS RKL CAREER?

Last year the RKL report asked how patient will OWNER/GM BERT ROY be with his star-
studded minor league collection of future all starts. In his quest for RKL TITLE, GM ROY
found that he could use some of his talent to garner help during his run to 4th place in 2013.
Finishing 4th was a disappointment for this organization that had eyed a championship, but the
cupboard is far from bare. Gone are: DAnaud, Arenado, Lindor, Sano, Skaggs, Fernandez,
Perez, A. Sanchez, Bradley JR, and Mike Olt 3B Cubs; meanwhile the door was opened for these
top prospects: #4 KL SS Carlos Correa Houston, #13 Gregory Polanco OF Pittsburgh, P Julio
Urias #14 in KL Dodgers, P Eddie Butler #17 KL Rockies, SS #22 KL Raul Mondesi Royals,
and too finish out with #39 and #40 respectively in KL is P Matt Wisler Padres and P Lucas Sims
Atlanta. So as you can see, GM ROY gutted some of his great talent and just re-tooled with
more cant miss prospects. Biggest discrepancy between KL and MLB lies with Urias whom
KL has ranked a whopping 50 spots higher than MLB. Three other players both made KL/MLB
lists respectively, they are: OF David Dahl Rockies who is ranked 24 spots ahead on KL list, P
Kyle Crick Giants who MLB ranks 37 spots ahead of KL, and former Spinner P Taylor Guerrieri
Rays. Pawtucket (PAW) was able to secure 62 points from the KL rankings and 70 points from
MLB, but made out like a bandit from BA with 87 points. This was due to the fact that Sims,
Polanco, Crick, and Correa were all #1 prospects for their respective MLB ball clubs. GM ROY
made a huge splash in the in season trade market when he hooked up (in a non sexual manner
you sickos) with GM MEEHAN on April 21st of 2013 with this blockbuster of the season:

18
Franciso Lindor Cleveland, P Aaron Sanchez Toronto, Jose Fernandez, Domonic Brown, Kenley
Jansen, Yunel Escobar, Yasiel Puig, 3B Miguel Sano Minnesota, P Robert Stephenson Reds, Matt
Moore, JP Arencibia, and 2014 round picks in the 3rd and 6th rounds FOR Jon Lester, Gio
Gonzalez, Evan Longoria, Troy Tulowitski, Josh Johnson, Jacoby Ellsbury and Casey Janssen.
When reached for comment on whether or not GM ROY would pull the trigger on this deal
again knowing now what he knows (PUIG/FERNANDEZ/BROWN/MOORE) vs. the injuries sustained
after the deal from Tulu, Johnson, Ellsbury etc the messages were not returned. Moving into
2014, will GM ROY be gun shy to pull another blockbuster or will he show patience with some
of his young studs below to carry over?

2. ( 9 SPOTS) 77.7 POINTS

To say OWNER GM KEVIN BELTZ JR restocked, reloaded, revamped, would be a disservice
to all those old time clichs. Soaring up the rankings by 9 spots Memphis has set his franchise
up for this year and beyond. Helping restocking the farm hands was a deal that sent Mike Trout
away from Memphis and into Albuquerque. That deal brought forth Miguel Sano 3B for Twins
and KL #8th ranked player in 2014. MLB was a bit more kind by ranking Sano #4 overall. GM
BELTZ JR was not done yet, many would have been happy with just landing Sano this off
season but in another move from right field, Memphis was able to secure the rights of MLB #3
and KL #5 player Oscar ted Williams. GM BELTZ JR paid a high price for Taveras and
#77KL P Jesse Biddle of the Phillies organization which almost guarantees that Taveras will not
see the field for the Redbirds this year as he gave up Zach Greinke and 2nd round pick along with
SP Danny Salazar and P Robert Stephenson of the Reds. Drafted last year, Jorge Soler OF Cubs
comes in ranked #26 by KL and only #49 by MLB. Soler is another prime candidate to be held
over past the reset. Former Warthog, SP Aaron Sanchez of the Blue Jays organization helped
spike the overall points by being ranked #23 by MLB and #30 KL respectively. Memphis dipped
into the Cubs organization for another ranked player in 2B Arismendy Alcantara. Look for
Alacantara to continue to move of the rankings come 2015. 3B Nick Castellanoes who came
over in an early season trade in 2013 with WS is not blocked anymore in Detroit with Prince
being sent to Texas in trade which should move Miguel Cabrera over to 1B full time so the rook
can come up with his big stick and help Tigers produce another Central division title. 3B Matt
Davidson had a unique off season as he was Arizonas 4th best prospect in December, he was then

19
traded to the White Sox and ALSO became their 4th best prospect. Deep and talented is an
appropriate way to describe Redbirds system with the superstars in Taveras and Sano already
mentioned, GM BELTZ JR still has SP AJ Cole Washington, CJ Edwards P Cubs, and SS Alen
Hanson Pirates to round out the KL rankings while MLB also had those players ranked and still
gave a courtesy ranking to OF Michael Choice of the Rangers. Memphis scored 106 points via
the BA rankings with the aft before mentioned deepness of his roster, but BA gave him another 8
points for this Oakland OF, Michael Ynoa. The Yo Yo team is currently Yod upward, how will
this stable of talent translate in 2014 and beyond will be the questions moving forward.
Memphis was assessed a 5 point penalty for owning Bryce Brent OF Red Sox. WHICH STAR
WILL SHINE THE BRIGHTEST?

What else can be said about OWNER/GM GEOFF ROELL existence in RKL history? I
believe LEGEND is fitting for this organization that has the titles to back it up (3). Of course
he also has the most last place finishes in league history as well (2). GM ROELL teams last
4 years, Champion, Dumpster Fire, Champion, Dumpster Fire, and Champion, followed
by??? That is the question going into 2014. Based on the retooling he was able to do again
this off season, it looks like the Legends will find themselves out of the basement cellar but
doesnt look like his team will ascend to the top for a back to back title either in 2014. The
multitude of trades for this organization is just to vast to highlight in this report, but give GM
ROELL credit where credit is due, the man knows how to get the deals done he needs to get
done. He sets out his plan and blows up phones until other owners give in (except Frisco)
and come to the demands he wants just so he will go away!!! Proof is in the pudding, 3 titles
with the mortgage a year for a title year strategy, will this be the norm moving forward past
the reset for GM ROELL? So whose in the farm stable that has allowed the Legends to run
away with the top spot in 2014 RKL ORGANIZATION REPORT? The consensus #1
prospect in the universe thats who!! OF Bryon Buxton of the Twins is this man. Buxton
was the #1 pick of the 2013 RKL Supplemental draft by the then named
AQUASOX/ROELL. GM ROELL backed that pick up with SS Carlos Correa who as you
know if you have read carefully is currently on Pawtuckets roster. GM ROELL could have
been sleeping with KL sister or wife because he also owns KL #2 SS Xander Bogaerts of

20
Boston and #3 SS Addison Russell of Oakland. Bogaerts and Russell were acquired,
surprise surprise via trade to the Legends. Bogaerts is slated to be the starting SS for the 14
Red Sox so it will be interesting to see if GM ROELL calls up the young phenom or carries
him over. My $$ is he is traded. Seems to be a safe bet with GM ROELL. Legends are
certainty not done with just that. KL #9 overall is SP Archie Bradley of the DBacks and he
also is proud to be a Legend. KL and MLB totaled damn near identical points at 91/92
which is very impressive and another note that show depth of the talent in the farm of
Lexington. 4 top 10 players in KL, 7 top 21 players, 10 top 50 players, and 12/13 available
minor league sports were ranked in KL and 11/13 in MLB. That is either incredibly lucky or
he has a knack of finding and acquiring top talent in RKL. I believe the truth is somewhere
in between. Taijuan Walker SP Seattle, SS/3B Corey Seager Dodgers, P Lucas Giolito Nats,
P Dylan Bundy Orioles, P Andrew Heaney Marlins, and C Jorge Alfaro Texas round out his
top 50. 1B Astros Jonathan Singleton #78 KL and #81 Miguel Almonte P Kansas City
finishes up his impressive KL list. Almonte did not appear in MLB list of ranked players.
As you can imagine all 13 of his minor leaguers were highly ranked within their
organizations which helped GM ROELL achieve an RKL high 109 BA points. The last
player that needs to be mentioned is little known P from the Pirates organization Luis

Heredia, whom I believe is a long lost cousin of this guy: .

THIS IS WHAT THE LEGENDS ARE SPOUTING THESE DAYS: CAN ANYONE
CATCH HIS LEGEND STATUS??

21
LEGENDS STABLE OF PROSPECT DOMINANCE!!! LEGENDS TOP 50

I hope fellow RKLers enjoys and finds this organizational report useful for 2014 and beyond.
As we head towards he reset and cleaning slates, this report will continue on every year that I

22
am willing and able to produce it. I have attached in the following appendixes the 1st and 2nd
annual reports and the KL Reports as well so that all 3 years are in one spot.

CHEERS TO ANOTHER EXCITING AND FUN FILLED 2014 RKL SEASON!!!

APENDIX A: 1st Annual KEITH LAW REPORT RKL

Whats Keith Law have to Say about RKL?

23
Ok after I kicked 3 bitches out of my classroom this week (one on Wednesday, and 2 yesterday) that just
left me with 3 fine young men and me, so guess, what, how about another RKL masterpiece by yours
truly The Whole Fn Show!!!! So with Pandora blaring (80s music all morning, and now Summer Oldies
now) we present you with RKL Organizational Report in the eyes of the Myth, Legend, almost Astros
Front Office man, KEITH LAW and his top 100. Here is how I compiled this list: I printed off Keith
Laws Top 100 prospect list that came out officially yesterday. I then illegally obtained my buddies user
name and password, which happens to be TINO TINO, after Tino Martinez of Yankee lore, and hit
PRINT. I then went through and once again crossed off all players that were owned by RKL members on
his list. Congratulations RKL, we own a whopping 49 out of 100 of his list. There is only 1 top 10 player
not claimed and 6 in his top 25 not claimed, so once again RKL owners are dominating in their pursuit of
top notch minor league talent.

Scoring: Simple: If a prospect was ranked 1-10, he received 10points, 1120, 9 points, 21-30, 8 points,
all the way to 91-100 which received 1 point. Attached the proper point value to player and started
adding up and WHAM BAM, THANK YOU MAAM, you have another fantastic list compiled 1-12.

For this report, I will like to start from LAST to FIRST; without further ado, Keith Laws RKL
Organizational Rankings for 2012! Cheers and Enjoy.

12. Batavia Muckdogs: ZERO POINTS: So Batavia had 20 points based off Baseball Americas
rankings, but failed to post 1 player in Keith Laws Top 100 in 2012. Much like my beloved Whitesox
farm system, it looks as if Coach Strykowski will need to do a lot of work to rebuild from the ground up
with its young players. There is talent out there for the Muckdogs to obtain, the question will be whether
or not he will drop his whistle this spring and let the Roncalli kickers hold their own balls instead of him
doing it all by himself!!

11. Modesto Nuts: 4 points: This 4 pointer for the 4 nutter GM Wilson is none other than Yasmani
Grandal who comes in ranked #65 out of 100. At first glance Yasmani sounds like a mix between Yassert
Arrafat and Armani Suit Company, but a closer look reveals that he is merely another raft rider from
Cuba. He was shipped (not from Cuba) from Cincinnati to San Diego where he will have more of a
Spanish speaking population to make him feel more at home, minus the tyrant known as Fidel Castro et
al.

10. Winston-Salem Warthogs: 7 points: How much lower can it get? Will Middlebrooks (Petey
Gammons boy) wasnt even listed in top 100 by Keith Law and he is supposedly Bostons #1 prospect
according to Baseball America. The only player to make Mr. Laws list was Matt Harvey of the NY
Metropolitans, or Mets for short. Harvey is ranked #38 after one season of professional baseball and I
know this guy is hoping for big things moving forward. After going through Laws top 100 I cant help
but feel like Im in middle school again, left out of the party. While all my friends were slow dancing to
Whitney Houstons 1993 hit (before Bobby Brown and CRACK COCAINE) I Will Always Love You,
I was over in the corner making the RMS (Rensselaer Middle School) balloons into PMS by popping 6
balloons of the leg of R. Yea thats how I feel. Moving on.

9. Palm Beach County: 10 Points: Some may have thought I was a bit harsh trashing on PBCs lone
legit prospect in his silly name of JURICKSON PROFAR, but that slick SS is ranked #7 by Keith Laws
standards heading into 2012. I am not sure if a position change is in order or not with the Black Elvis just

24
signing a 3 year extension with Texas but the young man whose name reminds of a form of Penicillin I
had to obtain after a trip to Mardi Gras circa 2003.

8. Frisco RoughRiders: 16 points: GM Silas Dust brings a 16 pointer to the party led by #12 and former
Cubs farm hand Hak-Ju-Lee (sounds like ACTUALLY in Americana) of the Tampa Bay Rays. Lee was
the cornerstone along with Chris Archer in the deal that led to the Cubs getting the not wanted Matt
Garza. Will Lee continue to blossom or will the name Reid Brignac resurface in conjunction with Lee?
This much I do know; GM Dust will reload his roster and obtain many more unclaimed players left on
Laws list. The recently obtained Anthony Rizzo comes in at #36 overall and is projected to be an Iowa
Cub for the 2012 year.

7. Brooklyn Cyclones: 21 points: GM Norof took many breaks from his constant twittering, blogging,
and columning (I dont think thats a word, Dont Judge) on Bleacher Report and Roto World to compile a
real nice mix of ranked players according to Law. The downside to Brooklyns minor league system is
the old argument, Quality vs. Quantity. GM Norof has 5 players in Laws top 100, but his highest ranked
player is #31 Jared Parker (from Indiana, yea HOOSIERS). Franklin #57, Gose #59, Ordorizzi #71, and
Delgado #98 all have talent or else they wouldnt of made the list (see WS Warthogs) but they are missing
that STUD top end prospect that makes one go Coo-Coo for Coco-Pops. Speaking of Cereal, does Fruity
Pebbles and Capt. Crunch Crunch Berries make anyone elses SHIT turn green or is that just me?
Moving on.

6. Albuquerque Isotopes: 22 points: GM Meehan has 3 players that have made the list led by Arodys
Vizcaino who comes in at #14. It is hard to get too excited about Vizcaino because within in 2 years I
will almost guarantee that he will be older by 4 years and his last name will actually be Smith. Silly
Haitians. Carlos Martinez #22 and Gary (a truly DIRTY) Sanchez is #55 ranked players. Sanchez is the
3rd best catching prospect according to this list behind dArnaud and Mesoraco respectfully.

5. Lowell Spinners: 34 points: Once called Capt. Consistency by Baseball America, the same can be
said by Laws standards as well. Much like his compardre from the UMASS alumnus association, GM
Desberg has nice depth within Laws top 100 but currently no cant miss bonafide studs.yet. TuJuan
(Tijuana as I like to call him) Walker is his highest rated prospect sneaking into the top 25 at #24. This
pitching prospect from Seattles organization is only 19 (so he says) but after some research done by
yours truly it has been found out that Mr. Walker is the love child of the Coked out Oil Can Boyd circa
1992 when he was sucking dick for coke on Bourbon street. I digress

4. Ft. Myers Miracle: 37 points: It is a miracle that GM Welty has been able to horde all those picks and
not get an itch to do anything with them ( it was like he sold the farm in April and sat around drinking
Mai Tais hovering around the medoza line all year), that can be said too about his minor league system
that Keith Law lists as RKLs 4th best. Wil ( his mom was really lazy and only spelled his name with 1 L)
Myers of the loaded KC Royals organization is GM Weltys highest ranked player at #13 overall, just
outside the top 10. Jacob Turner was surprising low in my opinion at #29 while Yankee Banueles, Manny
is ranked in the top 25 at #23.

3. Montgomery Biscuits: 48 Points: This is where the rubber hits the road here folks. Technically
speaking GM Roell, has accumulated more points than the 2 nd place Memphis Redbirds, but this report
must say that he couldnt rank him 2nd (more on that later). Baseball America system allowed the Biscuits

25
to amass a huge 3 digits in 105 points, but you factor in that 10 points came from the likes of Brett
Jackson who barely made the list on Laws top 100 at #89. GM Roell did snag 3 players from trades
recently that helped him restock his deep and talented group of minor leaguers. Devin Mesoraco leads
the way at #8 overall catcher and #2 catching prospect overall. As long as Joe Oliver isnt the catching
coach in the minors for Cincinasty then I look for Mesoraco to continue to improve and may be seen in
the bigs in 2012. Jameson Taillon and his DV of 27 is ranked #16 overall in his 2 nd year of professional
baseball after being drafted out of high school and being compared to the ROCKET pre roids, he is about
2 years away from cracking Pittsburg roster. One surprise was Drew Pomeranz who I thought would have
been ranked much higher than his #45 spot. GM Roell may enjoy his players now, but I will guarantee
you that they will not be on his roster by the Indy 500. BTW: I still owe GM Roell a bottle of Crown
Royal.Just saying.

2. Memphis Redbirds: 39 points: As I mentioned above, technically speaking Biscuits have more points
the Redbirds, but 1: Redbirds feast on Biscuits, every time and twice on Sunday, and 2: STAR POWER
FACTOR. GM Beltz Jr minor league roster has that STAR POWER in it. Led by Keith Laws #1 overall
player Mike Trout and #2 pitcher overall and #5 overall Shelby Miller, its hard not to recognize him at
the 2 spot ahead of the buttery Biscuits. Like many others in the top 6, he also has players scattered
amongst the top 100. Casey Kelly #32, James Paxton #51, Yonder Alonso #69, and Michael Choice #77
round out his team. The main question will be, will Memphis use these talented young players to improve
his major league roster moving forward or exercise patience with the likes of Trout & Miller.

1. Pawtucket Red Sox: 90 Points: Ok, as mentioned in the Baseball America posting, GM Roy has
amassed the most dominant collection of young players that RKL has ever witnessed. There hasnt been
this much excitement about a team since the Tulsa Drillers left and a newbie name Winston Salem came
riding into town. Here are the sick stats: 5 TOP 10 players, 7 top 20 players, and 10 top 50 players. Let
me repeat this: 5 top 10 players, 7 top 20 players, and 10 top 50 players. Some would credit with GM
Roy with his due diligence when collecting these talents, but I call shenanigans. It is clear to me that GM
Roys sexual relationship with Keith Laws sister has led to this collection. I mean it has to be
right..List goes as follows: #2 Bryce Harper, #3 Matt Moore, #4 Manny Machado (who I was set to
grab in the supp. Draft right after he did.bastard), #6 Travis dArnaud, #9 Jesus Montero, #18 Julio
Tehren, #20 Martin Perez, #25 Tyler Skaggs, #28 Michael Sanu, and his worst ranked player #46 John
Singleton. GM Roy according to Law, has the #1 ranked power hitter, #1 ranked Pitcher, #1 ranked
Catcher, #1 ranked Middle Infielder, and #1 ranked Golf Swing (yea I went their Beltz!!!)

There you have it boys!!! Another wonderful afternoon in Alternative School has produced the 1 st annual
Keith Law Report by yours truly THE WHOLE FN SHOW.

Feel free to discuss: I give Roell 10 minutes after posting this to send me a nastygram!!!

APPENDIX B: 1st Annual Organizational Report

I have an incredible amount of time on my hands at certain parts of the year, February happens to
be one of those times. Since the Hoods have been somewhat pleasant this semester, I find that

26
time to be even more plentiful. I started this project by just looking over prospects as I usually
do via Baseball Americas website. Today I noticed where they have their annual prospects
ranks in a tidy nice little printout without all the other stuff such as projected 2015 lineups, which
has best curveball, power hitter, etc etc. I jumped at that printout and threw out the other 27
teams that I had already printed out last week. So here I was going through everyones roster
scratching those prospects that are already on one of our 12 owners teams when I was hit with
this incredible idea. Once again, since I have incredible amount of time on my hands at school I
decided to come up with our own RKL Minor League Organizational Rankings. A simple matrix
was used. Based off Baseball America rankings of each teams top 10 prospects I gave each
owner a TOTAL SCORE of all their Minor Leaguers currently on their roster.

Scoring was done based on the following: If Prospect Tony Bigbat was ranked #1 for the
Baltimore Orioles then Tony would receive 10 points. The matrix worked all the way down from
10-1 representing 1st overall to 10th overall receiving just 1 point. If you are carrying a guy who
wasnt listed, I thought about giving negative points, but instead just went with a simple 0.
Without further ado, I unveil RKL 1st ever ORGANIZATIONAL RANKINGS FOR 2012.

1. Pawtucket Red Sox: 95 POINTS: Wow is all you can say about the incredible amount of
talent that GM Roy has acquired and HELD onto over the years. Led by 6 different guys who
are ranked #1 by Baseball America, Pawtucket has a strangle hold on the whos who of
baseballs up and comers. Highlighted of course by Mr. Bryce Harper, he follows that up with
Matt Moore, who is regarded as the #1 pitching prospects in baseball as well. Julio Tehran, John
Singleton, Travis dArnoud, and Michael Sanu round out his #1 spots. Add in a Martin Perez,
Manny Machado, and Tyler Skaggs, plus guys that are not eligible anymore like Dustin Ackley
and Desmond Jennings then you have yourself a very very Scary team to contend with from here
to the 2015 reset!!!

2. Montgomery Biscuits: 105 Points: First of all let me say his 105 points were incredibly
bolstered with moves he has made the last week or so. He raised his status from 50 points to 105
points by acquiring the following prospects in trade: Drew Pomeranz, Zach Lee, and Devin
Morasco (all 10 pointers) Brad Peacock (9 pointer) and Ryan Lavarnaway. He adds Brett
Jackson (cubs #1 but not too strong) Gary Brown and Jameson Taillon to his overall strong
Minor League system. Adding to the mix late was Eddie Rosario and Tim Wheeler, the Biscuits
love their Wheelers!!! But who knows how long these cats stay with the Biscuits, as our resident
used car salesman will most likely continue to be a moving and a shaking throughout 2012 and
beyond. As you can see Monty is rocking a huge score of 105 points, but for these rankings he
remains in the solid 2 spot. Technically he has more points than GM Roy, but will remain in this
spot because quite honestly, Pawtuckets are mostly Homegrown, and we all know
HOMEGROWN is much better then commercial!!!

3. Lowell Spinners: 71 Points: Captain Consistency is the only way to explain GM Desberg
teams over the years. He refuses to sell off the farm for instant gratification, but yet is willing

27
and eager to make trades that improve his team for both present and future. This is indicated by
his strong score of 71 of mostly homegrown talents and some guys that are still a year or 2 away
from making Baseball Americas rankings. I counted up 12 guys that were minor league eligible
on his squad with two guys receiving 0s which means in 2 years they could be 10s, Denis
Raben and Guillermo Pimental. Leading the way with names you will know, Mike Montgomery
who is KC #1 ranked prospect in an organization that is crazy deep with young talent. Trevor
May was a 10 pointer and Tajuan Walker received 9 points and Oscar (dont call me Willie)
Taveras and Rymer Lirano round out some of his quality prospects. Of course he has some
Boston Red Sox players stashed away for a dreary day.

4. Ft. Myers Miracle: 63 Points: Ft. Myers has a nice crop of Minor Leaguers to go along
with his ENORMOUS amount of picks in the upcoming 2012 RKL draft. Being in Florida, it
surprises me he isnt getting the most bang out of his buck with those MIAMI MARLINS, but he
does have a love for some Yankees. Manny Banuelas and Jacob Turner lead the way with a nice
1-2 punch of future starting pitchers at the MLB level. Another highly rated Yankee is on his
roster Dellin Betances who rocks 9 points for GM Welty. Jean Segura and Billy Hamilton along
with Wil Myers round out his notable players, but his money will be made in the draft and that is
a fact jack since he set an all time new record of aborting a team last year with his April fire sale.

5. Memphis Redbirds: 57 Points: GM Beltz is one of the owners who have gone the route of
selling off future for win now, rebuild, and go after again. Two years removed from the $$ of
2010, GM Beltz is rocking a solid mix of talent within his minor league system. Led by an once
own by WSW, Shelby Miller, the Cardinals #1 prospect, he got a generous 10 point bump from
Mike Trout, another former Winston Salem employee, but my feeling will be that Trout will not
be on the Baseball Americas list after this year. Yonder Alonso also provides a 10 spot for the
Redbirds, while James Paxton represents Seattle #4 best prospect. Somehow, someway, JOSH
VITTERS is still being ranked by Baseball America and secured the 1 pointer for the Birds.

6. Brooklyn Cyclones: 48 points: Our most famous (I use that term very loosely) owner GM
Norof is right in the middle of the pack with his team. His squad could have been ranked ahead
of Memphis if it wasnt for the trade of Devin Mesoraco to Monty. He has some nice 2nd and 3rd
tier guys such as Anthony Gose of Toronto, Randall Delgado of Braves, and Nick Franklin of
Seattle. His top prospect easily though is Northeast Indiana own, Jarred Parker, who was traded
to Oakland in the off season. I know personally how much love GM Norof has for Mr. Parker
and he is looking forward to seeing his debut sometime in an Oakland uniform sometime in
2012. He has his token Met on the roster to with one of the most interesting names to date,
Jeurys Familia who helped out with a 7 spot.

7. Frisco Rough Riders: 42 Points: Dont let the low number fool you, GM Dust is a tough
competitor and knows how to use his minor league system well. Frisco, like Brooklyn, lost 10
points when he moved Zach Lee for Brandon Morrow a few weeks ago. He has Christian
Freidlich who I swear to god, he has been owned by just about everyone at some point and me 2

28
or 3 times, but he didnt make Baseball Americas top 10 for Colorado. Friscos top remaining
point getter is Nelson Molina who was the center piece in the Sergio Santos trade to Toronto. Dr.
Cooper of Chicago White Sox feels that he can make one minor mechanical issue with Mr.
Molina and he will just take off. I know I and probably more importantly GM Dust will be
watching if that holds true.

8. Winston-Salem Warthogs: 37 points: Some may predict a homer type write up here, guess
again. I am a bit sick to my stomach doing this project recognizing many names that were once
mine but since moved on and only 1 $$ placement many moons ago, this just isnt cutting it.
Instead of whiny like a little bitch at St. Rochs, I will lace up my boots, pick myself up and dust
myself off and try to do better than the 37 points I currently have. The top 2 prospects are Matt
Harvey from the Mets who is ranked #2 within their organization and Boston Red Soxs #1
prospect Will Middlebrooks. Will was able to become a Warthog only because of one Peter
Gammons wonderful prospect tweet he sent out last season, which helped secure his rights. The
one that got away though was Paul Goldschmidt, as I remember distinctly; I was literally 20
minutes too late as GM Desberg had just swooped him up one idle morning last season.

9. Albuquerque Isotopes: 33 Points: Who cannot be rooting for this guy after such a heartfelt
early morning or late night postings he made a few days ago. I understand his pain; we talked
about it actually one fateful night at McCools. This was shortly before I had to throw in that
2013 supplemental pick to seal the deal on the first ever NAPKIN TRADE in RKL History, but I
regress, back to the prospects. No 10 pointers for GM Meehan, but he has 2 solid #2s in Carlos
Martinez and Arodys Vicaino. Gary Sanchez is the next hair apparent in Yankee land now that
Jesus Montero is eating Sushi and listening to Nirvanas Smells Like Teen Spirit, the Album.

10. Batavia Muckdogs: 20 Points: Um, yea, so, GM Strykowski otherwise known as
STRYKER is one hell of a football coach. But his Minor League system needs some new life
brought into it. Simon Castro, who was also brought into the Whitesox by Kenny Williams in
the Carlos Quentin trade, ranks #3 in their organization which gave him 8 points and by far his
best prospect. Grant Green and Kyle Gibson were both ranked much higher last season and have
since dropped but their talent is evident.

11. Modesto Nuts: 19 points: Similar to Frisco, GM Wilson of Deez Nutz, was rocking a real
solid minor league class led by Drew Pomerantz and Brad Peacock, but losing those 19 points
hurt him in these overall rankings of minor league rosters. Im sure he is ok with that though,
considering he was able to obtain, Verlander, Kemp, Doc Halladay along with various other pick
swaps. GM Wilson along with Monty and Memphis has successfully pulled the all in
maneuver and is on his way to recovery for 2012.

12. Palm Beach County Cardinals: 9 Points: So GM Hanson had exactly 1 guy, thats
correct, 1 guy who was actually ranked by Baseball America for this upcoming season. That 1

29
guy also has a very unique name, Jurickson Profar and he is #2 in Texas, but he plays SS and
Elvis Andrus seems to have that locked down for the time being. Joe has a solid lineup led by
Albert Pujols, but if things go south again for his Cardinals of RKL, he may look into selling off
some of his top talent for younger talents.

There you have it, in all its GLORY, the 1st annual, RKL Organizational Report. Feel free to
discuss.

APPENDIX C: 2nd Annual WHAT DOES KEITH LAW THINK RKL STYLE?

30
Coming off the heels of last weeks 2nd Annual RKL Organizational reports, I am pleased to bring
forward the famous KEITH LAW TOP 100 PROSPECT RKL REPORT. I illegally obtained my
buddies user name and password, which happens to be TINO TINO, after Tino Martinez of
Yankee lore, and hit PRINT. Here is how I compiled this list: I printed off Keith Laws Top 100
prospect list. I then went through and once again crossed off all players that were owned by
RKL members on his list. Congratulations RKL, we own a whopping 57 out of 100 of his list.
That is 57% owned for the math challenged!! There is only 1 top 10 player not claimed and 5 in
his top 25 not claimed, so once again RKL owners are dominating in their pursuit of top notch
minor league talent.

Scoring: Simple: If a prospect was ranked 1-10, he received 10points, 1120, 9 points, 21-30,
8 points, all the way to 91-100 which received 1 point. Attached the proper point value to player
and started adding up and WHAM BAM, THANK YOU MAAM, you have another fantastic list
compiled 1-12.

For this report, I will like to start from LAST to FIRST; without further ado, Keith Laws RKL
Organizational Rankings for 2013! Cheers and Enjoy.

12. ( 10 spots) MEMPHIS REDBIRDS: 5 points: Oh what a difference a year has made.
Memphis organization dropped a whopping 10 spots from last year to this year in Keith Laws
eyes. Last year GM Beltz strutted around in 2nd place in these rankings with a cool 39 Keith Law
points, this year a sad 5 points is all that is left. Last year Montgomery had more points but these
rankings bumped Memphis to #2 due to STAR POWER and that is what has been lost. Mike
Trout and Shelby Miller have been promoted and traded respectively. James Paxton and
Michael Choice were ranked last year, this year they are not in the top 100. The only piece left
thus far for Beltz is lil old Casey Kelly who is ranked #60 Overall and is the Friars #1 prospect.

11. ( 1 spot) BATAVIA MUCKDOGS: 8 points: GM Caldwell took over this squad and
skyrocketed them from 12th spot to 11th spot here in 2013, skyrocketed them from ZERO points
to 8 points in just 1 calendar year. GM Caldwell can be excited for obtaining the rights to Brad
Peacock, but he did not make this years list according to Law. The lone ranger for the
Muckdogs is Julio Teheran who checks in at 28 overall. Julio will be vying for a rotation spot
out of spring training for the Braves and will surely be off the prospect list in 2014, if he isnt
then he will be embarking on Josh Vitters territory and that is not good for anyone except Josh
Vitters.

10. ( 6 spots) CEDAR RAPIDS KERNALS: 11 Points: Even though he has more points
than Palm Beach, these rankings give credence to STAR power and that is the difference. Cedar
Rapids has 3 players that equal up to 11 points while Palm Beach has the #1 player overall on
many lists including Keith Laws. The highest rated player that earned 82% of the total points
was Jameson Taillon. The problem with Jameson other than it gets you black out drunk, is his
DV. My guess is Taillon will become a free agent as soon as Febuary 21st, day after Keepers are

31
to be announced. Other players making the top 100 were Kolten Wong #96 and Tony Cingrani
#98.

9. (Same) PALM BEACH CARDINALS: 10 points: GM Hanson dropped 1 spot from last
year but kept the exact same points 10. That 10 spot as you all probably already know belongs to
the #1 prospect in all of baseball in Jurickson Profar. Many experts, including myself, (not
claiming expertise) state that they believe Mr. Profar will be up and contributing this year for the
Rangers. The question will be, as it always seems to be with GM Hanson, what will he do with
his talent? Trade it or keep it? We may have our answers by May 1st as GM Hanson may need to
use Profar to obtain quality MLB ready talent for Cardinals to contend deep into the summer
months in RKL.

8. ( 1 spot) BROOKLYN CYCLONES: 18 points: Dropping a spot is no hair off the back
of GM Norof as he has a nice balance of young players that appeared on Keith Laws top 100
and also Baseball Americas hot sheets. RKL is well aware of the love affair that Norof has with
the Metropolitans, of course we have all heard by now that the 2 highest paid MET outfielders
are Bobby Bonilla and Jason Bay, but I digress, lets view the METS that are actually got some
future shall we. Brooklyns highest rated player is Pitcher Zack Wheeler of the before mentioned
Mets. He is just ranked outside the top 10 at 13 in Laws top 100. He is 1 spot ahead of future
running mate Travis DArnaud that Pawtuckets Roy owns but Im sure that Norof will be
finding sometime throughout the year to obtain his rights too. Jake Odorizzi is ranked #68
overall with Nick Franklin right behind at 69 (yes I smiled as I typed that just as you smiled as
you read that). Rounding out players that have made Laws 100 was Adam Eaton who was
ranked #91.

7. ( 4 spots) MODESTO NUTS: 19 points: On his way to title #3, NUTS led by GM Trevor
Wilson found himself in a unique situation, OWNING MINOR LEAGUERS WITH TALENT.
Usually when GM Wilson gets his hands on some talent they wont stay long as he will move
those youngster at a moments notice to obtain MLB productive ready players. This year will be
no exception as I foresee these players who made up 19 points on Laws scale to be moved at
some point this year, especially if they are within contention of money. GM Wilsons Nuts are
small in size, stanky in smell, but they will give someone some sort of happiness. They are:
Jonathon Schoop #50, Chris Archer #53, Justin Nicolino #62, and Allen Webster #63 overall.
Nothing spectacular; much like the Nuts in present day, but 3 titles along with 3 kids, who can
argue against his NUTS.

6. ( 2 spots) FRISCO ROUGHRIDERS: 21 points: Point wise there is nothing that

separates the last 3 organizations from one another. Frisco has done a great job with his balance
as previously discussed in other memos sent out last week. GM Dust goes about his business in
a way that makes sense and it seems as if he always gets what he wants. Much like Modesto,
Friscos lot of players are nothing too fancy, but has built enough minor league depth to be able
to barter his way to the final deal he wants for MLB ready talent. This years crop is no

32
different, led by #31 overall Javier Baez, GM Dust will use his wizardly techniques to fool some
cub fan into buying high on this young lad. Next up is Tyler Austin OF for the Yanks who comes
in at #52, followed by Jedd Gyorko #70, Hak-Ju Lee #78 and finally Delino Deshields Jr #83.

5. ( 5 spots) WINSTON SALEM WARTHOGS: 33 points: This off seasons biggest move
in the eyes of the legend Keith Law is none other than GM Whole Fn Show, aka Eric Nowlin.
Last year the warthogs chimed in with Law at an embarrassing 10th overall whose only claim to
fame last year was Matt Harvey who was shipped to whom else Brooklyn and Ethan Norof.
After last years write up, GM Nowlin took it to heart to erase those painful middle school years
that he so eloquently explained and reloaded on his way to a sad 4th place finish last year.
Thanks to off season deals that brought in the likes of Nick Castellanos (#38) and Gerrit Cole,
GM Nowlin raced up these charts to be squarely at #5. Those players take second fiddle to the
steal of the draft in round 26 Dylan Bundy, Pitcher Baltimore Orioles. Keith Law ranks Bundy
as #3 overall and #1 pitching prospect. Before mentioned Cole, comes in at #8 overall and
Laws 2nd overall pitcher. These two pitchers alone should have been enough to garner a couple
more ranking spots, but hey who wants to be greedy? Rounding out the players who obtained
points is Anthony Rendon 3B Nats who comes in at #17 overall.

4. ( 1 spot) LOWELL SPINNERS: 45 points: GM Carl Desbergs #4 ranking is due largely

by two top 10 talents and overall quality depth of his Spinner minor league class. On a personal
note, I feel like Lowells #1 prospect OF Oscar Taveras is the best hitting prospect in the minors
today, but Law felt he was behind Profar, so whom am I to argue. #9 overall player and #3
pitcher, is also owned by GM Desberg and that cats name is Taijuan Walker. Every time I type
that name I for some reason think Tijuana, which makes me think unholy thoughts that are not
meant for RKL lore, or are they? Shelby Miller should be in the top 10, I say should be because
if you have followed this young man at all you know his talent is evident but between the ears is
more Carl Everett than Carl Desberg, so if that gets corrected look for Miller to be in the bigs
and blow past his #21 overall ranking. Brain Goodwin #44 overall, Taylor Guerieri #47, Matt
Barnes#79 and #82 Jake Marisnick round out the rest of the depth of players for Lowells solid
and usable minor league system.

3. (Same) MONTGOMERY BISCUITS: 47 points: In one of the last documents that will
bear his name BISCUITS; GM Roell saw no movement in overall Keith Law rankings. So for
most, that would mean that he held onto the same talent, but our resident used car salesman just
replaced last year with this year and stayed basically the same. Last year, GM Roell rocked out
48 points and this year he is down a point, but not 1 player ranked last year by Law is on his
current roster. Gone Pomerantz, Taillon, Mesoraco, Jackson, in are Christian Yelich #6 overall,
Trevor Bauer #25, Archie Bradley #29, Johnathon Singleton #32, Eddie Rosario #65, Danny
Hultzen #66, and Zach Lee #67. RKL underground was able to learn though that Hultzen has
been cut by GM Roell for PASSING his minor league drug test, which goes against GM Roells
minor league player policies set forth in 2007. Finishing up is Jarred Cossart but really, who

33
cares about that jabroni. RKL be warned, GM Roell will be knocking on your doors soon
enough, either to sell vacuums or to deal you one of these fine prospects. Proceed with caution.

2. ( 4 spots) ALBUQUERQUE ISOTOPES: 64 points: Having the worst 1st name in

baseball to try to spell is the only drawback of the #2 Keith Law ranked organization has. Our
2nd biggest jump belongs to GM Meehan and his Isotopes. You may also recognize this
organization by its HOMER SIMPSON rants and he can go on ranting and raving about this
collection of young talent. Like many of the top 6 teams ranked, GM Homer Simpson has some
top end studs: Wil Myers #4 overall and #5 Xander Bogaerts along with great depth working
down from #18 overall Gary Sanchez to his worst ranked players Matt Davidson at #75. Dont
look now, but #30 overall Billy Hamilton just stole your wallet, Girlfriend, and GM Bliss
Engineering degree. #39 Carlos Martinez has a lot of upside for the St. Louis Cardinals as does
Bubba Starling #45 and Alen Hanson #34. If you are Cubs fan, well I am sorry, but dont worry
Prince Theo has your guy, Arodys Vizcaino, ranked #64! If you have read this far, then you can
see why GM Homer Simpson is very excited to get moving into 2013 and has shown he is not
afraid to move some of these talented players if the price is right.

1. (Same) PAWTUCKET REDSOX: 73 points: Points have dropped considerably, but the
talent has not. The story is the same over in Pawtucket from last year to this year, from Baseball
America to Keith Laws top 100, GM Bert Roy has the best collection of minor league talent
now going on 2 years straight. 2012 collection was dominant, this years is full of depth. Last
year Pawtucket rocked 5 out of 10 top 10 players, this year only 1 left that is Fransico Lindor SS
for Cleveland Steamers. He is ranked #7 overall. In the next bracket of players though, GM Roy
has 5 out of 10 in that pocket earning 9 points a pop. They are #11 Miguel Sano, #12 Tyler
Skaggs, #14 Travis dArnaud, #16 Jose Fernandez, and #19 Aaron Sanchez. Pawtucket also
features 2 out fielders ranked in the bracket of the 30s in Mason Williams (Yankees) and Jackie
Bradley Jr. (Boston). As stated in the organizational reports that were released last week, the
question that the fans of Pawtucket have been asking is, how patient will GM Roy be and will he
move some homegrown talent in pursuit of a top 4 placing in 2013. GM Roy is one of the 4
patriarchs of RKL, the dinosaurs if you will (Nuts, Topes, Spinners are the other 3), time will tell
what this original franchise sets out to do this year in 2013. Resources are there, talent is there,
maximizing the team, which will be the job of GM Roy in 2013 (as read in the comment section
of the Pawtucket Press January 15th)

APPENDIX D: 2nd Annual RKL Organizational Report

34
As many of you know, I have an incredible amount of time on my hands throughout the normal
work day, some days are better than others, well this week after Mondays interesting start of the
week we have found ourselves with only 3 or 4 students daily instead of the 11 I am supposed to
have at this moment. So I said to me, SELF, ITS THAT TIME, lets get out the hot sheets and
prospects charts and compile the list of whos who in RKL Organizational talent!! For this report
I used the Baseball America Top 10 prospect reports they started putting out well before
Christmas time.

Refresher of the scoring system is as follows, scoring was done based on the following: If
Prospect Tony Bigbat was ranked #1 for the Baltimore Orioles then Tony would receive 10
points. The matrix worked all the way down from 10-1 representing 1st overall to 10th overall
receiving just 1 point. If you are carrying a guy who wasnt listed, I thought about giving
negative points, but instead just went with a simple 0. With some of the off season trades that
took place a couple players were ranked on both teams they were on, so I took the average of the
2 for 1 score. For example, Modesto Nuts player Justin Nicolino was ranked for both Miami
(new team) and Toronto (old) team so his average of 6 and 5 is 5.5. Without further ado, I unveil
RKL 2nd annual ORGANIZATIONAL RANKINGS FOR 2012.

12. ( 2 spots) BATAVIA MUCKDOGS: 17 points: Batavia saw an early season ownership
change as Chris Strykowski had to step away due to an internal investigation on his other hobby,
Special Teams football of Roncalli lore. In came new owner Nick Caldwell. Nick made some
moves here and there and I look forward to seeing how he comes into his own in his first full
year at the helm. So who does he have to work with considering he ranks dead last according to
Baseball America? Batavia only points last year came from 3 guys no longer on his roster, he
has since replaced them with Atlanta Braves #1 prospect in Julio Teheran who he gained in trade
with Winston Salem Warthogs shortly after taking over. The other 7 points were from Houston
pitching prospect Brad Peacock.

11. (6 spots) MEMPHIS REDBIRDS: 26 points: Where did all the talent go? Last year GM
Beltz sported a very respectable 57 points off of Baseball Americas rankings. Of course when
Mike Trout (youre welcome btw) was your number 1 and he quickly leaves a huge hole. GM
Beltz has always been willing to use his organizational depth to help the big league squad and he
did so this past year when he dealt Shelby Miller the St. Louis Cardinals number 1 pitching
prospect and last year top 10 Keith Law ranked player in season. So who does he have to be
proud of thus far? Michael Choice is Oaklands #2 overall prospect and that nabbed him 9
points. Beltz still holds the rights to Indianas own James Paxton who is still Seattles number 4
overall prospect. Casey Kelly, starting pitcher from San Diego is by far the best asset that GM
Beltz has to offer. As the last line stated last year in the write up, Somehow, someway, JOSH
VITTERS is still being ranked by Baseball America and secured 1 point for the Birds; well I am
proud to announce that JOSH VITTERS is NOWHERE to be ranked in Baseball America or
Keith Law for that matter, but dont worry folks, GM BELTZ still holds his rights, so step right
up and make a play for Mr. Vitters, Im sure Redbirds will be all ears.

35
10. (2 spots) PALM BEACH COUNTY CARDINALS: 25 Points: GM Joe Hanson, a man
a little words, a man of great integrity, a man with the #1 prospect in all of baseball by every
source imaginable. Jurickson Profar is very talent young man, Texas is even giving him work in
the OF to help try to get him in the lineup as MI is loaded in Arlington with Kinsler and Andrus
still working their primes. GM Hanson has moved up 2 spots to #10 overall as you can see, this
occurred with the help of 3 other players making their respective teams top 10 list. Those
players are: Xavier Avery, Jose Campos, and David Holmberg.

9. ( 5 spots) CEDAR RAPID KERNELS: 30 Points: Once again turnover is the word that
explains this organization. At first it was Welty with Chris, then it was just Chris, and since he
went on the FBI most watched list, the franchise has been relocated to GM JOE BLISS weekend
hideaway known as Cedar Rapids. Now the only thing I know about Cedar Rapids is that Ed
Helms made a pretty funny movie that its plot and premise is near and dear to my heart. GM
Bliss has some guys to work with his top gun being Jameson Taillon who had been compared to
fireballer Roger Clemens coming out of High School. The nasty part is I believe Taillons
disgusting DV, thanks to yours truly. Tony Cingrani is the Reds #3 prospect and garnered 8
points for GM Bliss squad. The team at this point last year featured the likes of Wil Myers, Billy
Hamilton, and Jean Segura who have all been shipped off to other owners during a very
confusing 2012 for the former squad out of Ft. Myers, a Miracle indeed.

8. ( 3 spots) MODESTO NUTS: 39.5 Points: Title Town RKL is what is being described
from the south deanery of Indianapolis. GM Trevor Wilson once again dazzled us all with his
wiliness to kill the future year for success in the current year. GM Wilson is a known Minor
League Player snob, as in, he could give two Chatards about them, but he houses them in hopes
to use them in moveable pieces. Last year coming in at 11, he really has no one to speak of from
last year to this year, so lets pull back the covers to see what 2013 brings us in this Minor League
report. Chris Archer was in the cubs system but was sent to the Rays in the Garza deal and is
now the Rays top prospect earning 10 points for Wilsons Nuts. His best position player is in
Baltimore 2b, Jonathon Schoop, who is ranked in Laws top 100 along with Justin Nicolino and
Allen dont call me a dictionary Webster.

7. ( 1 spot) BROOKLYN CYCLONES: 42 Points: At this point last year, Brooklyn was
rocking a total score of 48 points, those lost 6 points resulted in a small dip to #7 overall, not too
bad, standard issue middle of the road system GM Norof has assembled. Sticking to his
Brooklyn ( or as some think Crooklyn is more like it) he owns every prospect that is listed in the
NY Mets list put out by Baseball America. No other RKL owner has touched a Met (rightfully
so) in fear of the backlash from the Bleacher Report Mafia, Oh yea its real, trust me. Zach
Wheeler leads the way who is also in Laws top 20. Other Mets include Jeurys Familia and
Wilmer Flores. Other notable prospects are Nick Franklin, Adam Eaton, and Jake Odorizzi. GM
Norof has some work to do, as he needs to be able to secure the rights to Catcher in Mets
organization via Toronto in Travis dArnaud if he wants to get all the major Met playaz!!!

36
6. (1 spot) FRISCO RUFFRIDERS 47 Points: Essentially Frisco and Brooklyn swapped out
spots from last year to this year as GM Dust obtained 5 more points from this point last year.
GM Dust just flat out competes and his finishes can be historically tract to state the same.
Balance! That is what is organization has always been built on and will continue onward into
2013 and beyond. GM Dust can be proud of his #1 prospect Cubs SS Javier dont call me Jose
Baez. (That joke was for the Lawyers of the RKL) Other notable prospects are Delino
Deshields boy they call him JR, Jedd Gyorko, Austin Tyler, and the Asian Sensation Hak-Ju Lee
round out the best of the rest. Silas Dust is calculated and will throw one or two of these gems to
make sure the right deal gets done, that folks is balanced.

5. ( 3 spots) WINSTON SALEM WARTHOGS: 60 Points: I would like to start this report
by saying how proud I am of DV 26 Dylan Bundy. The quote was this moments after his
selection from an unnamed RKL member, By the way, the Dylan Bundy was a turd pick... he is
a high schooler... his DV will be cut in half before he gets to play... ruined him. You can see
for yourself here: http://z3.invisionfree.com/TrevsKeeperLeague/index.php?
showtopic=76&st=180 With that being said, not only did Mr. Bundy live up to all the hype, he
even earned some PT out of the bullpen while the Os were involved in a pennant race. So going
into this year I gladly keep this young gun at DV 26 and will so in 2014 at DV 13, your
welcome. Ok enough with the self-serving message. Who else does GM Nowlin a.k.a. The
WHOLE FN SHOW have to be proud of? This past off season so far he got a 2 major upgrades,
Gerrit Cole who is in Laws top 10 and Pittsburgh #1 prospect and all indications are that he may
just pitch his way into the Majors as soon as June. Anthony Rendon is Washingtons #1 prospect
and Detroits #1 Nick Castellanos was also obtained this off season. These are the players that
have propelled Winston Salem to #5 this year, but history shows that these talented guys can and
most likely will be moved at some point. GM Nowlin is the same guy who has traded Shelby
Miller, Mike Trout, Julio Tehren, and Jose Fernandez in recent years.

4. (2 spots) TO BE DETERMINED BISCUITS: 66 Points: GM Geoff Roell is a mover and

a shaker, always has been and will most likely always will be, fuelled by Acid ( cigars not LSD
you hippies) and Crown Royal GM Roell dropped a few spots during his rebuilding year of 2012
coming off his 2011 championship. Christian Yelich OF from Miami is by far his best prospect,
he is ranked in Laws top 10. Trevor Bauer is his best young pitching prospect but he was not
listed in any Baseball America rankings but he was by Keith Law, it will be interesting to see
what Cleveland does with the youngster. Roells love of Arizona was not limited to Bauer as he
also owns the right to Archie Bradley who is Zonas #2 overall prospect. I venture to bet that
more than half of the players owned and ranked currently on the former Biscuit team will not be
on the team come September 1st. Examples being at the time of the 2012 report the following
players were a Biscuit: Drew Pomerantz, Zach Lee, Devin Morasco, Brad Peacock, Ryan
Larvarnaway, Brett Jackson, Gary Brown, Eddie Rosario, Jameson Taillon and Tim Wheeler.
Whose left? Jackson, Rosario, and Lee. With a loaded up draft coming up BIG things are

37
expected out of Roell camp, which is not the norm, according to the Mrs, just what I heard a
McCools.

3. (No Change) LOWELL SPINNERS: 71 Points: I mean shit man, this guy GM Carl
Desberg is such a shrewd business man. His ethics are top notch, his moves are calculated and
pay off. Even last year it was determined by Lowell management that 2012 was not gonna be his
year, so what happens, he still makes more money by calculating and executing the 8th place
finish to earn some loot. As mentioned before with Frisco, Lowell led by Desberg is the model
of balance and consistency in both the big league club and their minor league system. GM
Desberg is most proud of the #2 prospect overall in the game of baseball according to many
sources in Oscar ted Taveras. Folks if you are unfamiliar with this young man, go ahead and
google his minor stats and youll know why. But thats not all folks. Immaturity concerns cost
Pitcher Shelby Miller in some rankings but his talent is evident and Lowell owns him. Lowells
other big pitching gun is Taijuan Walker who hopes to be a dynamic 1-2 punch for the next 7
years with King Felix in the greater Pot Smoking Northwest known as Seattle. Brian Goodwin
OF from Washington is highly rated along with pitcher from TB Rays, Taylor Guerrieri. Not
being a true homer like some other UMASS alum not named Victor Cruz in RKL, GM Desberg
owns the rights to only 1 Boston Redsox players in Matt Barnes.

2. ( 7 spots) Albuquerque Isotopes: 79 Points: RKLs biggest mover in the organizational

report is GM David Meehan and his Isotopes squad. Last year he had only 33 points and during
the course of the season in 2012 he went younger and sold off assets in the big leagues to obtain
young talent and picks. This has paid off according to the RKL underground and that GM
Meehan feels like he is just a few early in season moves away from being a real contender in
2013. So who does he have to so proud of? Isotopes have a pair of Tenners I call them. These
TENNERS are players who were ranked #1 in Baseball America and also in the Keith Laws top
10 out of 100 prospect listing put out 2 weeks ago. These players are Wil Myers and Xander
dont Bogaerts that shit and pass it muther chucker. These are 2 cant miss prospects that will
surely help in some capacity in whatever plans GM Meehan has in store. Other notable prospect
is this guy named Billy Hamilton. Dude has like 100000000 stolen bases in his young Minor
League career and many think he will crack the lineup in some capacity this year in
CinciNASTY. Gary Sanchez is a holdover from last year as his Carlos Martinez out of St. Louis
and Arodys Vizcaino from Cubbie fanfare. Overall, Isotopes have 10 guys listed somewhere in
their respected teams top 10 from Baseball America, that folks is called depth.

1. ( no change) Pawtucket Redsox 103 Points: So last year GM Roy was dominate in the
minor league collection of players, but can you believe his score actually went up overall by 8
points. The question will be, how much more patience does management have on watching these
studs develop in the minors with the hard reset upcoming in 2 years. The list is AWESOME.
These 7 players are ranked #1 by Baseball America within their own organization. Travis
dArnaud, Nolan Arenado, Fransico Lindor, Miquel Sano, Mason Williams, Tyler Skaggs, and
Jose Fernandez. The following prospects are ranked either 2nd or 3rd respectively: Martin Perez,

38
Aaron Sanchez, Jackie Bradley, and Mike Olt. GM Roy has no other prospects ranked lower.
Oh and MANNY MACHADO is not eligible to be considered a prospect, same with Giancarlo
Stanton, Yasmani cheater Grandal, Jesus Montero, Bryce Harper, Desmond Jennings and Matt
Moore. So you can see, the freaking talent assembled in year 1 and 2 of their careers plus the
minor league stable easily puts Pawtucket and GM Bert Roy in the lead lap, but as it was last
year as it is this year, what does he do with all these assets?
