LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
Dear Parents/Carers,

My name is Ali Cadonetti.

I am currently in my third year at Southern Cross University, and am studying a

double degree of Primary Education and Arts.

As a requirement of the course, I will be attending Charters Towers Central State

School for six weeks in October/November 2016.

I am very excited to have been given this experience to attend a Professional

Experience in a rural and remote setting. I have always been passionate about
teaching rurally and to be here is very exciting. Teaching is the career I have
always envisioned for myself and this block of Prac is bringing me one step
closer to that dream.

During my time here at Central I will begin by observing classes and eventually
end up teaching the Prep/1 class for a part of the term. As part of my
professional experience I am intending to collect evidence of both my
improvement and the students. To do this, I am hoping to write observations,
take photographs and short videos of classroom activities and collect some of
the work samples that the students in my class create.

I am looking forward to working with the students in Prep/1 during my time at

Charters Towers Central School, and I hope to meet you all at some point during
my visit.
