1. Q: What did you value most when looking for a college that fit you?
A: Ive been a student athlete since high school. My choice in college was mostly based on
what schools wanted to recruit me. But, I wanted to go to a school with a good track and field
department.

2. Q: Do you prefer living on or off campus and why?

A: Im currently living on campus in but I would prefer to live at home. I dont like being
away from my family but its required for freshmen to live on campus their first year.

3. Q: Are you involved in any campus clubs?

A: Besides track, Im not involved in any campus clubs.

4. Q: What does student government do for the campus?

A: To be completely honest, Im not really involved in student government. I know theyre
responsible for a lot of what goes on around campus but Im not sure exactly what they do.

5. Q: What is the best way to get help/tutoring with my schoolwork?

A: A lot of professors offer study sessions after class. You can work with other people on
your assignments or look for help in the library.

6. Q: How are you paying for the costs of college?

A: Im on a full ride sports scholarship for this school year.

7. Q: Has this college met your expectations?

A: The academics at this college have met my expectations but Im currently looking into my
options for running track at other colleges. The track and field department didnt live up to
my expectations.

8. Q: Do you work on campus? Is so, where?

A: Im not working my first year of college.

9. Q: Do you feel safe on campus? Why or why not?

A: I feel safe on campus. I dont meet many people who seem threatening and most people
on mind their own business. I live in on campus housing with roommates and I feel safer
knowing Im not alone.

10. Q: What do you like about the teaching staff? What do you dislike?
A: For the most part, I like the teaching staff. My professors are thorough and take their time
during class so its easy to follow along. There are a few teachers I dont personally get along
with but I feel like thats the case no matter where you go.
