Possessive Nouns
A possessive noun is a noun that shows who owns, or possesses, something.

Use the following rules to form possessive nouns.

Add an apostrophe () and -s to a singular noun.

Add an apostrophe () to a plural noun that ends in -s.

Add an apostrophe () and -s to a plural noun that does not end in -s.
