In a political system, there are input which will produce output. Input has several functions
that political socialization, political culture, political recruitment and articulation of interests.
In this paper, we will discuss about the articulation of interests. Definition of articulation of
interests are the delivery process of interests to the political superstructure in the political
system. Superstructure means the government with regard to existing state institutions and
power relations between institutions to one another. There are several styles of articulation of
interests are manifest, latent, diffuse, specific, general, particular, instrumental and affective.
In our opinion, the combination of the manifest, specific, general and instrumental style is a
combination of very able to influence political superstructure. For example, an illustration of
the demand of the community to the government to create educational equity program by
building and improving the curriculum in accordance with the state of education in each
region and because if it is not, it will have an impact on the future of Indonesian society. After
that, we identified from the case, the style manifest is proven from the demands of the public
for the government to improve the curriculum according regional education situation and
society are not apathetic, style specific is proven from their demands with concrete form is a
program of educational equity by improving the curriculum each region, style general is
proven from the demands of the people and not of a particular group and style instrumental is
proven by the consequences because if the program does not exist the education in Indonesia
will be uneven in the sense that each region cannot be developed in accordance with the state
of education respectively, from one region to another has different state of education as an
example of the state of education in Jakarta is different from the state of education in Papua
therefore the distribution of education means that each area will develop in accordance with
the circumstances and needs of their respective regions.
