6) Steps
6.1 ) Set Induction (3-5 minutes)

1. Warming Up (Sing Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes)

i. T: Girls, form a single line on my left.

Boys, form a single line on my right.

ii. T: Let sing Head, shoulders, knees and toes with me.

iii. T: Make it faster (repeat ii).

iv. T: Faster (repeat ii).

V. T: Faster (repeat ii).

Vi. Stop. Bend down and inhale. Hold your breath. Stand with your toes.
Exhale.

vii. Good job. Yes, you do it well.

(If children push their friends)

T: Jane (name), dont push Ali (name).

6.2) Step 1: Revision (sight word)

T: Let do some revision.

1. Teacher show flash card to the children.


T: What does this say?
2. Teacher point the flash card individually.
T: What does this say?

T:Now, Im going to divide you into small group.

T: I want you to count 1 to 5. Remember the number that you say.

T: Number 1, move here repeat till group 5.

2. Teacher demonstrates on how to play the game

T: Let me demonstrate on how to play the game. Please, pay attention.

T. Hope on the box and say it aloud. Proceed to the next box and say
the words on it.

T: On my count, you can start.

p/s: Ask the children who able to read to become the guide for each group.

3. Repeat 3-4 time for each children.


4. Ask the children to return in their group.

Step 3) : Assessment

1. Teacher shows the flash card to the children and ask he/she to say the
word.

Note: Teacher select 3-5 children to make an assessment individually.

Teacher use words of encouragement (eg. well done, good)

Teacher may correct the childrens mistakes. (eg : are you sure ? ..is that
your head, )

Step 4) : Closing the activity

1. Teacher ask the children to do warming up together.

T: Children line up, in single line.

T: Put both of your hands on your friends shoulder.


T: Let sing together.

You massage my shoulder, and

I massage your shoulder,

We all massage our shoulder,

massaging shoulder.

2. Teacher asks children to the classroom.

T: Let go to the classroom. Watch your steps. please.
