The truth is that I am interested in the nomination because I'm sure to have the

necessary to meet the goals in the short, medium and long term, meeting the scientific
process planning qualities.

I am a journalist with a specialization in Management Treatment Centers granted by the

governing body on addictions in Venezuela: ONA (National Anti Drug Office).

In that sense related to my career, I have experience as a photographer and

correspondent for a regional newspaper in the province where I live, work as an editor
and cameraman at a local television station, I spent a year as head secretary and public
relations officer of a provincial parliamentary faction .

I was director of a public spotlight and treatment of addictions a year and a half in my
country Venezuela, called Family Planning Centre, belonging to the Jose Felix Ribas
Foundation, which is a national institution with 30 years of operation, attached turn
since 2006 the national government of Venezuela. Where my office had 15 people all
professionals with enough experience in the matter, doctors, psychologists,
psychiatrists, social workers, outreach workers and administrative staff.

During the time I was at the head of the institution to implement with my team the
following parameters and fully verifiable achievements:

a) we were developing comprehensive care to children, adolescents and adults with

male and female high individual and family vulnerability, and generally with psycho-
motor disabilities, based on a humanist and community intervention biopsychosocial
model. Attention is unfurled from four intervention programs: 1) Community
Prevention, 2) Guidance and Attention 3) Community Training and 4) Monitoring and
Control.

b) We promote our work in general, going to television programs, issuing press

conferences, filling out various newspapers and television reports, making information
days on the streets with flyers.

c) Provide specialized Ensured immediate and timely care, people who came to us with
various social problems.

d) Ensure specialized, immediate and timely, people who came with problems of
addiction counseling.

e) Help Train community members as multipliers in health promotion and addiction

prevention.
f) implement community prevention programs, early and timely manner about diseases
in general and addictions in particular.

g) Supervise the evaluation diagnosis and care to guide and refer citizens to the various
levels of the health network.

h) We formed under my leadership a support network among different health centers,

foundations, universities, research centers in order to test immediate, effective responses
to the needs of users called "State Council care and treatment of addictions answers "

i) I Make agreements with educational institutions in order to give continuity to

specialized users of basic education, technical or entry and ensure their academic or
occupational sector.

J) I made various efforts to continuously train the technical, administrative and

professional service staff who worked at the center of care and treatment in the areas of
mental health, health promotion and prevention of addictions.

k) Implement a basis of complete, secure and reliable data that allowed knowing the
path of the target population served.
