Week 3

This week, I was sick again and I thought to be absent on Sunday
but I remembered that my MST will be absent on the 5, 6 and 7 of
March 2017 and I have a lesson to teach my students in grade two -
C. So, I attend the school and I found that my friend, Fatima
Abdurrahman, was absent too and she have to teach same lesson
for three sections of grade two. Actually, I shocked because Fatima
didn't tell me that she will be absent even Ms. Tina, English
Coordinator, she also knows that Fatima is sick and absent. Ms. Tina
asked me if I can take four sections and teach them the same lesson
and I find that is a good experience for me to take four periods and
teach same lesson for different children' levels. Overview, I really
felt as a real teacher, having the responsibility to stand in front of
the students and teaching them without my MST. On Monday and
Tuesday, I taught two whole lessons for grade two C and D which
were " Season to Season" & " A Change of Pace" and children were
done with their books and activities also I checked their books.
Finally, on Wednesday, I felt better and well, my MST was back to
school. The MST did revision for all sections of grade two to make
sure children's understand and she found that most of students
were understood the lessons and she started the new lesson and
she started practices skill on Fusion book. MST was glad of me and
children also she praised me said "Congratulation! Great job Reem
and I hope you to find more experiences with me and other teachers
in this school and to be a great teacher in future". I felt happy and
proud of myself and my MST asked me to search and find some
ideas with Fatima Abdurahman to create a science wall together. I
was interested because I did it last semester for math and it was
great and now I like to create science board and I hope it will be
great too, attract my lovely students and to learn something from
science board. However, I agreed with Science MST to teach my
students a lesson on Sunday and my MCT will come to the class and
evaluate my teaching class. Finally, I complete 2 TP tasks and wrote
my reflection of my teaching classes.
