annotated bibliography, we will learn the best way to fully explore researchfinding sources,
evaluating them, and then putting them into the conversation with other scholars as well as
finding our own voice within the essay (a la Burkes Parlor Metaphor). The multimodal nature of
this essay will potentially include links to sources/contexts/genres, videos, images, and polished Due Dates

Part One: The Annotated Bibliography: For every source collected, we will write a brief (at midnight to BB)
annotation for it. Annotated bibs allow us to concisely establish the key components of a source RR: Mar 26
so that later, when we write the essay itself, we can more easily navigate between our sources
with a full understanding of its purpose. Each annotation should range between 3-5 sentences
and consider the following aspects: 1) What is the source about? Summarize. 2) Who is the
author and why are they an authority? Elaborate. 3) Why is it valuable and not another source?
Interpret. The annotated bib will be 1300-1500 words and fit a style guides parameters.
