Mengungkapkan makna dalam percakapan transaksional dan interpersonal sangat sederhana
untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat.

B. BASIC COMPETENCE
Melakukan interaksi dengan lingkungan terdekat yang melibatkan tindak tutur: menyapa
orang yang belum/sudah dikenal, memperkenalkan diri sendiri/orang lain, dan memerintah
atau melarang.

1. Pre-instructional activity
1.1 Motivation
Teacher introduces herself in front of the class.
(Teacher tells her name, age, origin, and hobby)
Teacher shows video that related with the topic that will be learned.
Teacher asks some leading questions
These are the questions:
1. What do you think that I and people in the video just have done?
2. How did we introduce ourselves?
3. Can you guess what we are going to learn today?

2.1 Explain the reason of doing introducing oneself
Introducing oneself is one thing that required when we meet new people or get
into a new environment. It aims to give people information about us in order to know
each other. So we can feel comfortable with people that we are going to talk to
because we already know them.
