OBJECTIVES
The objective of the Commands Hand Book (CHB) is to provide engineers of the sofware delivery team with an
overview of the commands used in DX200 Platform and make them to get familiarize with the DX200 commands.
The CHB describes the usage of the all the commands that are used in the DX200 Platform. This document can
refer to any existing related documentation. The software delivery team can refer the CHB document for the
projects related to BSC upgrade,BTS upgrade,BSC units, links troubleshooting and all other projects which is
based on DX200 Platform.
ACRONYMS
Acronyms and terminology specifically used in this document are described below.

5. MML SESSION
5.1 Definition:
Sessions are either local sessions or remote sessions.Communication between the system
and the user using MML command language.

.
For internal use only
It uses X.25 connection and MSW connection.It has 64 Kbit/s data connection
6. MML COMMANDS:
6.1 Syntax:
Command
ZQVC CONNECT
ZQVD DISCONNECT
ZQVI INTERROGATE PAD PARAMETERS
ZQVM MODIFY PAD PARAMETERS
ZQVP DISPLAY CONNECTION INFORMATION
Functions:
It supports A interface & ABIS interface. It provides LAPD (link access protocol for D channel). The minimum configuration
of BCSU is 2. (i.e one is working & other in spare) The maximum configuration is of 7 (i.e 6 is in working state & 1 in spare
mode) One BCSU TRX handling capacity is about 110
Functions:
Handles 16 TRX's
Handles SS7 signaling between BSC & MSC
Handles LapD signaling between BSC & BTS's
X BCSU Number
Functions:
Transcoding and rate adaptation of traffic channels carried between the BTS and the TRAU
Submultiplexing of 8, 16, 32 or 64 kbit/s capacity TRAU frame channels onto 64 kbit/s timeslots
Through-connection of selected entire timeslots.
Functions:
CLS unit takes 13MHz clock from the MSC and distributes it to the ET card. It also generates different tone for the mobile
subscriber.
Functions:
CLSU (Clock & Sync Unit) CLAB (Clock & Alarm Buffer)

25.3 Parameters
a. Interrogate Local Bearer Channel
Signaling Parameters ZFNO;
b. After having verified the that BTS is indeed having the fault use the ZEQO:BTS=<bts_number>:GPRS; to determine the
NSEI to which the BTS is connected to.
c. Use the ZFWO:NSEI=<nsei>; to determine which BCSU the BTS is connected to for GPRS. The <nsei> is the NSEI
determined in step b.
d. After having determined the BCSU number from step c start a remote service terminal session to the BCSU:
ZDDS:BCSU,<bcsu_index>;
ZRS:3<bcsu_index>,90BE;
setlog dam 2
h. Exit the service terminal session by first typing 'exit' then type 'ZE'
ZDVM:CRIERR&INF&TES::BCSU,<bcsu_index>:PCU,4;
k. Give following command after GP RTSL channels starts to go on/off (DO NOT FORGET TO CAPTURE THE LOGS TO
A TEXT FILE. THIS LOGFILE NEEDS TO BE SENT TO NOKIA)
ZDVL:BEG:CONT:::<logfile_index>:INT:BCSU,<bcsu_index>;
