Steps involved in developing the library information chatbot.

Planning and Requirement Analysis: It is the most important stage to develop a

quality software product. In our case, we had to develop a chatbot on messenger. We
had no idea of what it will take to develop it. So, we read many research papers and
facebook for developers platform to develop the chatbot.

Defining Requirement: After having what the chatbot is, we needed to gather
requirements to develop it. Node.js was the language to learn and MongoDB for the
database. Other languages and information were also gathered to produce the quality
chatbot.

Design the product: All the knowledge and requirements together were put down in
a chatbot to produce an interactive and interesting chatbot which will be useful for
end users. Library Information Chatbot was the designed product we wanted to
develop.

Developing the Product: The library information chatbot required high-level

programming languages such as Node.js, PHP for coding. The server was created
using Node.js and MongoDB was used for the database.

Testing the Product: Chatbot was tested by various requesting for various responses
from the chatbot and tracking whether the response to the request is relevant or not.
This stages reports, tracks product defects.

Deployment in the Library: The library information system is tested and ready to be
deployed in the library.
