Kai answered all of the | questions, ‘Try rotating through different students. ‘All students knew what activities were ___| coming up and transitioned nicely. Tdidn’t sce staff marking whether or not students were answering correctly regarding capitalizations and punetuations. Is there a way to incorporate this into the worksheets or books in order to assess their knowledge? They provided assistance with work when needed and praised them for correct answers and staying on task. Overall Seore (Average) 181 Additional Comments anc/or Recommendations: * Try using different students to answer during morning group ‘The review of the objective before starting the lesson was great. Have a student read the lesson objective to the class. ‘The on-going vocabulary books are fantastic! ’s were all allocated appropriately according to the IEPs Sam did a nice job floating in between students and instructing Zach to prompt DR to start his work and modeling how to do that Try starting the lesson with a more formal review of the definitions of punctuation and capitalization. As the students were reading, staff’ were having them verbally identify or point to the punctuation and capitalizations. Try having the students circle each item in different colors, so they can easily understand the difference, It was a great use of time giving some of the students a previously mastered file folder game related to the lesson when they finished their work before everyone else to prevent down time, Nice strategy! ‘The review of capitalization and punctuation before the worksheet was great. Nice review of the worksheet as a whole group at the end Try using the closing time to review capitalization and punctuation definitions once more _ (same as opening) The vocabulary word wall had vocabulary and pictures related fo the lesson Lesson plan was on Sam's desk Maybe try incorporating a mini schedule (written out) of each activity within the lesson
