Catholic Church Requirements and Procedures

Cost of Catholic Wedding for all islands except Turks & Caicos: $100US additional to the wedding cost
plus Registration/Government Fee and church donation paid to priest directly on wedding day.
For Beaches Turks and Caicos, the cost of Catholic wedding is US$1500 plus Registration/Government
Fee and church donation paid to priest directly on wedding day.

Procedure for Bride and Groom

Reserve wedding reception time direct with Unique Vacations, Inc. Contact Catholic Church
directly to set up the ceremony time at least 1 hour prior to reception time. Complete this no
later than 2-3 months prior to wedding date.
Send documents from personal parish priest to the destination church via overnight mail to the
appropriate island address listed below. Please send via FedEx or DHL.
Call church office to make sure that all documents are acceptable. Reconfirm time and date of
wedding. ONLY THE CHURCH CAN CONFIRM TIME AND DATE. Please advise Unique of your
church ceremony time.
Please send all legal documents necessary to obtain marriage license to the Unique Vacations

Requirements for Bride and Groom

Cover letter with names, address, telephone and wedding booking number.
Letter from church authorizing bride/groom to be married outside of parish.
Letter of pre-marital investigations.
Letter of dispensation (if one party is not Catholic).
Pre-Kana class certificate/letter confirming attendance of premarital class.
Notarized photocopy of baptismal certificate (original ink stamp/signature).
Notarized photocopy of birth certificate (original ink stamp/signature).

Jewish Wedding Information

Requirements
After the wedding has been booked, the guest must contact the Jewish Marriage Officer to
make arrangements directly with him, at a minimum of 2-3 months prior to the wedding date.
The clients are still required to send Sandals (Unique Vacations, Inc.) the necessary documents
in the appropriate time (60 days prior to the wedding date).
Clients must also advise Sandals of all final arrangements made with the Jewish Marriage Officer
so that we can make arrangements for the reception.
