BOYUTO

This is an Orisha of transcendence and one of the deities closely related to

humanity. Boyuto accompanies Inle-Abata and gave silver to Obatal. Boyuto is
manifested as a fisherman but is the deity of mirages (mirages of the desert, as well
as, the sea) and fatigue. Boyuto is symbolized by a fishing pole. For example, when
one sees double and/or their sight is blurred Boyuto is present. Also, all the
sicknesses involved with vision; i.e. cataracts, double vision, glaucoma,
nearsightedness, and blindness etc., are atributed to Boyuto.
Boyuto is responsible for the presence of Ololord being mainfested as double.
Ololord was a young warrior woman who liked to strike with iron and machetes. she
thought of herself as being invincible and went to challenge Oroinya. As Oroinya
was beating Ololord in this duel, Boyuto created a mirage and thus Oroinya saw
Ololord double. Thus Boyuto save Ololord's life for Oroinya attacked the mirage
and not Ololord herself. Boyuto is a very important Orisha for the children of Oshun
especially the children of Ololord. Boyuto is also the Orisha of sight, ESP, and of
thought. when one dies, it is Boyuto that the person sees even before the arrival of
Ik. Therefore Boyuto is our assistant at the moment of death.
Este es un oricha de transcendencia y una de las divinidades ms cercanas al
hombre. Boyuto acompaa a Inle abata y fue quien le dio la plata a Obbatal.
Boyuto es pescador pero es el dios de espejismo y las visiones, en los espejismos
del desierto y el mar, la fatiga etc. Cuando se enferma la vista y se ve doble ah
esta boyuto. Boyuto es el responsable de que ololordy sea doble.

Ololordy era joven y guerrera y le gustaba dar con hierros y machete y se crea
invencible. Fue a retas a Oroinya y cuando oroinyale estaba venciendo, Boyuto
caus el espejismo y Oroinya vio a Ololordy doble. As fue que Boyuto salv a
Ololordy.

Boyuto es un Oricha muy importante para los hijos de Ochn y principalmente los
hijos de Ololordy. Boyuto es el oricha de la videncia y los pensamientos.
