It is my pleasure to submit my resume for the position of Graduate Intern for the Arts Initiative Office at Boston
University. Throughout my tenure at The Catholic University of America, I have had opportunities to build exemplary
skills that I believe qualify me for the available position. It is my belief that you will find I possess skills and qualities that
will contribute greatly to the Arts Initiative Office at Boston University.
Through my varied roles in multiple University offices, I have worked to support a diverse group of students and with
staff members to ensure the continual functionality of various offices. In these roles, I excelled in peer delegation; the
monitoring of organizational finances; and the development of new programs. In addition to these skills, I acquired skills
in processing applications in order to complete a selective selection process. During this time, I co-advised a number of
cultural student organizations; providing guidance in marketing, budgeting, and the negotiation of contracts, in addition
to, serving on various interview panels: providing guidance in selection of university staff, faculty, and student positions.
Ultimately, I have worked to create a safe space for the entire student community at my current institution that enhances a
motivated, energetic, and diverse population.
As a Student Activities Graduate Assistant, in addition to previous roles, I have acquired on-call experience; elevated my
administrative skills; and strengthened departmental relations with community partners like Facilities Management and
Residence Life. Furthermore, I have acquired support skills; elevated application and interview processes; and
strengthened customer service skills. I am confident that these experiences have given me a solid foundation for guiding
students and promoting academic and personal growth. In review of this posting, I believe that my experience corresponds
