will help organize them for the future.

Lesson Objective

Content Learning Goals and Objectives

Given a city from the country France, the student will create a brochure full
of activities and prices that he/she will be able to do on the trip. The student
will research the given city and find three main landmarks they would like to
visit. The student will also need to find a place to stay for three nights, and
flights to and from that specified city. Given all this material, the student is
required to make a budgeted brochure about the city chosen. This brochure
must include costs of the flights, hotel, and the three landmarks that the
student picked. At the end, each student will have to figure out how much
spending money they need for food, shopping, traveling, and have a final
total.

Student Participation
The goal of this lesson is for students to learn how to use and budget money
wisely. Students will enjoy being able to visit each place and be able to
finance their way through this trip.

Procedures and Timeline

Introduction
Begin by having each student pick a city from a list that you
provide. Every city has to be abroad, making the student do heavy
research to the place they travel.
Ask each student why they chose the city they chose.
Give the students a few minutes to discuss their choices, and then
to write their answer down.
Begin a brief discussion on why the students were told to choose
cities, and explain how they are to create a brochure, as if it was
their travel plans.
