Students will be using the Internet to find images and information on the
given city. Word processing will be used to create a simple brochure, which
will need typing, format, and to add images. Students will then save their
work with the title Class Trip and send it into the Dropbox folder for their
class. A sample will be seen under Student Sample.
Introduction
Begin by having each student pick a city from a list that you
provide. Every city has to be abroad, making the student do heavy
research to the place they travel.
Ask each student why they chose the city they chose.
Give the students a few minutes to discuss their choices, and then
to write their answer down.
Begin a brief discussion on why the students were told to choose
cities, and explain how they are to create a brochure, as if it was
their travel plans.
