3D Knee Model Project Guidelines

Make a 3D model of the knee joint using sturdy, high quality materials that anatomically
represent the joint (Towel rolls, balls, rubber bands, etc.). The model should be a realistic,
detailed reproduction of the actual joint.
The joint should include
The bones
All ligaments/tendons of the knee
Cartilage representation
Labeling of all items

Partner Guidelines
Although it is not a required partner project, you may work with a one if you choose. The
guidelines for the partner project are as follows
Those working solo or with a partner
Follow the above guidelines
Extra Credit is available for those working solo or with a partner
Extra Credit Opportunity
Create a video explanation of the project, explaining your design and
how you came to your final product.
Those working in a group of 3
You are required to meet the above tasks, in addition to creating a video outlining
your design. (See above)
