Act to Save North Korean Refugees

According to the Human Rights Watch website, North Korean refugees are being held in

in a Chinese military garrison. There is a possibility that they could be forced back into North

Korea if actions are not taken. Insiders state that those who leave the country without permission

suffer harsh punishment and even death. In order to address this problem, the South Korean

government is coming up with a resolution for human rights violations in North Korea. This

situation ties in with our Social Justice Synthesis because it addresses the problem within a

society and the need to improve human rights in North Korea.
