Cradle of Hopemotherhood fund
Cradle of Hope is able to offer one
time financial assistance and/or a
Pack-N-Play ~ a portable crib ~ to
women experiencing an unforeseen
financial crisis. The financial crisis
must be caused by their pregnancy
or by the birth of their child.
Women complete Pack-N-Play
application at a Cradle of Hope Crib
site Hope Pregnancy Center.
Since its founding in 1973, Cradle of
Hope has distributed thousands of
cribs to Minnesota mothers in need.
Beginning in 2009, Pack-N-Plays
were awarded in place of traditional
cribs*. These portable cribs
(complete with a removable bassinet
feature and crib sheet), made
exclusively by Graco:
Accommodate infants of up to 30
pounds
Assemble, without tools, in minutes
Fit into limited sleeping spaces
Easily transport from room to room
or from home to home.
*Pack-N-Plays are partially funded by the MN
Positive Alternatives Program.
Cradle of Hope believes that every
baby deserves a safe place to sleep,
and is committed to providing Pack-N-
Plays to mothers who have no other
way of acquiring one.

How to Qualify:
To qualify for a Pack-N-Play, women
must be in their eighth or ninth month
of pregnancy, or have an infant less
than three months of age. They must
also reside in Minnesota
An appointment must be made to
complete an application.
Women are notified if they are
approved, and asked to return to the
crib site, Hope Pregnancy Center to
pick up a Pack-N-Play.
Along with receiving a packet of
information, our clients are require to
watch an informative DVD regarding
safe sleep practices before they are
granted a Pack-N-Play.
