The children will be exploring the different animal by participating in the sensory farm bottle.

Objective 1: The children will develop skills of curiosity by shaking the bottle to watch the animal move.

IV. Materials Needed:

2 Big water bottle


2 Small water bottle
8 Small Farm Animals (Goat, Rooster, Sheep, Cow, Pig, Horse, Chicken, Duck)
Water
Blue, and Green Food Coloring
Leaves
8 Animal Picture
V. Directions / Steps / Process [Parts A, B C]:

A. Motivation
- I will have the children explore the different animal inside the water bottle

B. Steps

1. I will gather 4 children to the play area


2. I will show the children eight animal picture, and then make the sound of each.
3. I will show the Goat card tell them the name, then say the sound.
4. Then I will show the Rooster card tell them the name, then say the sound.
5. Then I will show the Sheep card tell them the name, then say the sound.
6. After I will show the Cow card tell them the name, then say the sound.
7. After I will show the Pig card tell them the name, then say the sound.
8. Then I will show the Horse card tell them the name, then say the sound.
9. After I will show the Chicken card tell them the name, then say the sound.
10. Then I will show the Duck card tell them the name, then say the sound.
11. After showing the children about each animal and saying the of each, I will take out one bottle and
show the children.
12. I will tell them which animal is inside, and have each child look inside.
13. Then I will shake the bottle, and have the children watch as the animal with rise to the top and then
drop back down.
14. I will then give the children a bottle, for them to explore the different animals that are in the bottle
on their own.
15. While they are exploring their sensory bottle, I will be watching how they are examining each
animal.

- I will have the children exploring the sensory farm bottle on their own.
