Dear Hiring Authority:

I am interested in applying for a page position at the Eastern Branch
district library. I am currently a senior at Western High School. I am
an honor roll student whos enrolled in honors and advanced classes.
I have great attendance. I have played the violin for 7 years and I am
a member of the Jackson Youth Symphony Orchestra. Playing violin
has taught me to be disciplined and to be a hard worker. I have as
well, volunteered at the Jackson Symphony Community Music School
working with youth from the YMCA during a summer camp and was
asked to return this year as a paid intern. I have babysat for multiple
cousins and was a dog/pet caregiver for neighbors. From doing this, I
have learned how to be patient, organized and flexible. I have also
taken an Oral Communications class which has taught me how to
communicate well with others.
This job would mean a lot to me. I would love the experience working
with the public. If I was given the opportunity to work as a page, I
would come to work prepared every day and ready to work as hard as
I can. I always strive to do my best in everything I do.
