SBI PO Exam Pattern 2017

SBI PO Prelims Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 100 marks which will be
conducted online.

The Objective Test has 100 questions spread over 3 sections - English Language, Quantitative
Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The exam duration is of 1 hour.

The level of this section will be tough & calculative in solving. The questions can be asked

The difficulty level of this section would be of moderate level. The questions can be asked
from various topics like

Educational Qualification: For clerical post, you should have cleared class
12th examination with required percentage.

Age Limit: 18 years to 28 years

Eligibility for Officer Cadre

Educational Qualification: You should be graduated from a recognized


university with securing minimum 55% marks.

Age Limit: 21 years to 26 years

Highlights of SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2017:

SBI Clerk 2017 Exam Date & Time SBI Clerk 2017 is conducted in two phases
preliminary and mains. All candidates who have successfully applied for SBI Clerk 2017 will
be allowed to appear in preliminary exam. The mains exam will be conducted for those who
will qualify the preliminary exam.

Exam Mode Offline: Online mode i.e. computer based test

Language of Paper English/Hindi: The online question booklet will be provided either in
English or in Hindi. Candidates have to select the language at the time appearing for SBI
Clerk 2017

Question Booklet: There will be different sets of question booklet and candidates will get
any of the set randomly.

Types of question (MCQ): The question will be of multiple choice questions. Candidates
have to choose correct response from the given five options/alternatives

Distribution of questions: The preliminary and mains exam of SBI clerk 2017 will have

Marking Scheme

Themarking scheme of SBI Clerk 2017 preliminary and mains exam is same. For each
correct response candidates will score 1 mark and for each incorrect response 0.25 (1/4) will
be deducted. No marks will be allotted for unmarked response

SBI Clerk 2017 marking scheme

For correct answer: +1 marks Negative marking: 0.25 (1/4) mark

Marks Calculation: The score of SBI Clerk 2017 can be calculated by following procedure.

SBI Clerk 2017 Marks for Preliminary = 100 - (1 x Number of Correct Answer 0.25
X mark for each incorrect Answer)

SBI Clerk 2017 Marks for Mains = 200 - (1 x Number of Correct Answer 0.25 X
mark for each incorrect Answer)
Test of knowledge of official and/or local language: Those who produce 10th standard mark
sheet/certificate showing that they have studied official (local) language will not be subjected
to any language test. In case of others, language test will be conducted before final selection.
Candidates not found to be proficient in official and/or local language would be disqualified

SBI Clerk Cut off score 2017: Candidates have to secure sectional as well overall cut off
score as per their category to qualify preliminary and mains exam. The SBI Clerk cut off
score is given below.
