Main Lesson Aims (Concepts, Procedures, & Processes):


Students will be able to:

1. Listen and read the words/ vocabulary to know what the meaning.

2. learn about parts of the human body (muscle, knee, lungs, bone, arms, heart, etc).

3. explore ways to stay healthy and strong (healthy food, sleep, and exercise)..

Materials:

mouth, eyes,etc).
teacher materials - Power point has pictures about parts of body (head,
muscles, backbone, ribs, eyes, ..), and another power point
has pictures of some exercises.

Students Prior Knowledge:


The students learned about healthy body and parts of human body such as muscles, hands, arms,
fingers, head, ears, tummy, etc. from their teacher.

Possible Problems and Misconceptions:

1. Maybe, in this class has one of special needs students. He is dont understand the words clearly.

2. Sometimes the technology don't open like YouTube or the computer is broken.

Solutions:

1. I will set with him and I will write down some words for him and explain what the meaning of these
words through using my sense for example I will hold my nose to show him what the meaning of this
word. So, he will understand the words gradually, or I will give him easy worksheet has some words of
healthy problems with their pictures.

2. I should putted a plan B to using if the technology dont open for example I will print a flash cards
for the words or for the pictures to explain for students and dont lose my time.

Lesson Schedule

Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge): Time:

Activity 1. I will show them song video about parts of body and I will ask from
them to sing with the song or ask from one students to come in the middle of 3 mins.

Activity 2. I will show them power point has picture and words of body parts to
read it and understanding what the meaning of each words.

Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures): (10 mins)

Activity 1. I will show them power point about the unit (our amazing body). It 2 mins.
has some words with the pictures, and I will ask from them to read it.

Activity 2. I will take one student which called a little teacher and ask from 3 mins.
him to take a skeleton and explain what the parts of this skeleton to students.

Activity 3. I will using another material like lungs and I will ask them what the
lungs do for us?
2 mins.
Activity 4. I will give each group the blocks has some
words and sentences such as one block has word (mucels),
and one block has sentence (move hands and legs). 3 mins.
Then the students will find the right sentence with
the right word to matching between them. If any group matching wrong, they
will repeat it.
Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment): (30 mins)

Activity 1. I will show them power point has some words with pictures of body parts 3 mins.
such as head, eyes, arms, ears, nose, fingers, etc. Also, they will read the words. Then
I will tell them to show me their hand/ head/ leg/ eyes.

Activity 2. I will give each students worksheet has picture of boy, and some words of 5 mins.
body parts (hand, arm, neck, mouth, eye, ear, head, nose, leg, foot). The students will
complete the picture through using the right word. Then, we will answer this
worksheet together. After that, I will ask them true or fulse questions of the picture
that in the worksheet, but with whole class.

7 mins.
Activity 3. I will ask from them to open their learners book page 132 about how can
we stay healthy, and also I will put this page on the board. I will ask from any students
to come and read the paragraphs step by step, then I will explain it for them.
15 mins.
Activity 4. Finally, I will give each group diffrenet exersice to doing inside the class.
For instance, I will give one group balloons, and they have to hold the balloon between
their knees. When I say 1, 2, 3, Go! they will walk or jump but without drop the
balloons!
