You will need place value (2 players) (2 PLAYERS) cards You will need 1 dice Throw 2 dice add to find total 10 / 20 & numbers 0 9 (2 PLAYERS) Aim to throw 2 dice & find total They must arrange their number track Aim: to build a number track leaving spaces until they throw a To 12 Find a card 1 more or 1 less To 24 total to fill that space. Take turns to turn over a ten and a unit Build a number track to 13 or just a unit card to find a number - if Winner is the first to arrange the that number is available take the card number track. This game is very adaptive can be
differentiated to suit many abilities. It 15 17 16 18 15 can be a colour repeating game, or number tracks to 0-20 or to 10 (use less segments). See ideas sheet for games using the caterpillar but feel free to adapt any way you wish! I suggest Print and laminate enough for 19 pairs or small groups.
