on 20/3/2017 in alQemma school I had my observation on a math
lesson My MCT gave me the feedback after the lesson and it was
convincing, she said it was good that you had different activities for
centers and you used positive reinforcement such as a reward but I
didnt show to the students how they get the reward for example if
they get the sticker I didnt say excellent in a loud voice to get
attention from others, also I have some problems in classroom
management and my MST said that classroom management comes
by the time and experience.

Its important to receive feedback because it is a way to learn and

the feedback that I got was very good and I knew my mistakes that I
will try my best to correct them. I totally agreed when my MCT said
that I have to work on classroom management because when I was
giving the lesson I had a hard time making the students set in the
carpet and concentrate to me, also she gave me some strategies
that I would like to use next time that it may have an effect in
managing the class. comparing to my previous teaching practice it
was completely different, teaching in a kg level is much different
from primary schools. In primary they have more topics to learn and
they have to understand them well however kg was more likely to
routine activities also I think that managing was easier in kg not in
primary ,but it also depend to the teacher that is giving the lesson,
rules and instruction.in my condition my MST in the primary school
had a surgery so she had to be absent for more than a month so
when I came it was her first day too with the students after a long
time and she said to me that I have to start from the beginning with
them so she also had some problems with managing the classroom
and it affected me.

I learned that positive reinforcement is important in teaching
because they will do more and better work so I will use it more in in
the future, also I learned to show higher and effective responses
when students do a good work so they have more attention in the
lesson.
