Your Requirements:

Ensuring that greenhouse, landscape, turf, and laboratory facilities are

maintained
Providing for the care, cultivation, and propagation of shrubs, trees, turf, and
a variety of plants
Conducting maintenance on and providing the upkeep of assigned equipment
and facilities
Providing emergency response during inclement weather
Supporting the University and Facilities Department by completing all other
duties or special projects as needed
Kentucky EPA license and a valid drivers license
Associate Degree in horticulture
One year of practical experience in greenhouse/horticulture management
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides
the required knowledge, skills and abilities

My Qualifications:

Maintaining greenhouses, landscape, and laboratory facilities

Providing for the care, cultivation, and propagation of shrubs, trees, and
plants
Conducting maintenance on and providing upkeep of assigned equipment
and facilities
Completing any and all other duties, and special products as needed
Valid Kentucky drivers license and anticipating EPA license within three
months of hire
Anticipated Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture in Spring 2018
One year of practical experience in EKU greenhouses, gardens and facilities
Excellent at multi-tasking and following instruction
