LETTER
Dear Jonathan,
Hello! How are you? I received your letter today. I am very excited to hear that you are coming
to stay with me for the holidays. I am sure we will have a lot of fun together.
My parents have agreed to let you stay with me. They offered to pick you up at the airport. All
you have to do is to tell us when you are coming.
I will now tell you about some of the things you will experience here in Indonesia. You do not
have to worry about the local spicy food. We have a lot of fast-food restaurants here like the ones
you have in England.
You can also shop for souvenirs to bring home. Sarinah or Blok-M are our famous shopping
areas. They have many shops selling all kinds of things. I am sure you will love them.
I am also planning to take you to a few tourist spots like miniature of Indonesia, National
monument, or Safari Garden. We can also go to the Ancol beach where you can swim, play on
the beach, and have picnics.
My family and I are looking forward to your coming. I hope to hear from you soon. Good bye.
With love.
Naufal

Dear Sabrina,
Please let me express my deepest sympathies to you and the children. I was shocked and
shattered when I heard about Frank's horrific accident. I can't even imagine what you have been
going through for the past ten days.
As you know, Frank and I have been colleagues and friends for the past eight years. His tragic
loss leaves a terrible void in our office. He was so well-liked and respected by everyone who
came into contact with him, both colleagues and clients alike. He had tremendous people skills,
and as such, was a role model in our company and the industry at large.
I trust that, when they are older, the children will be made aware of what an outstanding person
Frank was in his professional life.
Sabrina, please feel free to contact me if I can help in any way while you go through this very
difficult period. I will support you in any way that I can should you reach out to me.
Also, please tell the children how terribly devastated all of us are here at the company due to
their Father's tragic passing.
Sincere sympathy,
Darlene Francis

because her parents were dead.
One day she heard her uncle and aunt talking about leaving Snow White in the castle because
they both wanted to go to America and they didnt have enough money to take Snow White.
Snow White didnt want her uncle and aunt to do that so she decided that it would be best if she
ran away. The next morning she ran away into the woods. She was very tired and hungry. Then
she saw a little cottage. She knocked but no one answered so she went inside and fell asleep.
Meanwhile, the seven dwarfs were coming home from work. There they found Snow White
sleeping. Then Snow White woke up. She saw the dwarfs.
The dwarfs said, If you want, you may live here with us.
Finally, Snow White and the seven dwarfs lived happily ever after.

RECOUNT
Last holiday my students and I went to Jogjakarta. We stayed at Morison Hotel which is not a
long way from Malioboro. On Friday, we went to the sanctuaries in Prambanan. There are three
major sanctuaries, the Brahmana, Syiwa and Wisnu sanctuaries. They are truly stunning. We
went by just Brahmana and Syiwa sanctuaries, on the grounds that Wisnu sanctuary is being
remodeled. On Saturday morning we went to Yogya Kraton. We spent around two hours there.
We were fortunate on the grounds that we were driven by a brilliant and amicable aide. At that
point we proceeded with our adventure to Borobudur. We touched base there at four p.m. At 6
p.m. we heard the declaration that Borobudur entryway would be closed. In the evening we left
Jogjakarta by bus.
