1. What requirements must you meet in order to study abroad? (i.e. GPA, etc.)
2. What are the three (3) different types of study abroad programs available to
students?
1. Exchange provides students an affordable way to participate in study abroad. These programs utilize an
established relationship between specific universities that exchange students with each other with each student
paying the tuition and fees at their home university and not at the host university;

Direct Study abroad program is administered by an organization offering study abroad support services (i.e.
School for International Training (SIT); American Institute for Foreign Studies (AIFS); International Studies Abroad
(ISA).

Faculty-Led - programs that are organized and/or accompanied by an NCAT faculty member, usually during the
summer.

Scholarships, Fellowships, Financial Aid

Fund for Education Abroad, Marshall Scholarships
6. Where would you like to travel to for your study abroad experience and why?
Italy, I want to go there because it would be a great learning experience and since
Im a barber most events are hosted there.
7. Does A&T offer this as an option? If not, then what would be your second choice
destination?
